seriously, i've checked out a few other sites, and they have mods who
a) don't care, or
b) abuse their power.

the mods here act like normal, sane posters, up until somone does something actually bad, at which point they solve the problem, with a minimum of flaming the offender.

come on people, everybody now, say just how great our mods are.

Is there like some unwritten rule that a praise the mods thread must be erected every month? I think the people who run NPF are swell and all (and I'm guessing they never get tired of the praise), but we have so many of these threads...

Our mods are pretty awesome. Unlike in some threads Ive been to, they add to the Forum instead of subtracting from it.

Of all the forums I've been to three of them had good mods. This one, Ktr clan (a clan I was in for age of empires 2 I was a mod), and AoK Heaven. The rest tend to suck. It takes a good deal of time to have good mods and we appreciate them.

Also note that this is the only one of the three where people sucked up to the mods or even mentioned that they are appreciated. In my clan there was sucking up but that was for personal gain. In here the only personal gain of sucking up is to avoid bieng banned which seems like a horrible punishment that only the grey mage (and his 20+ other screen names) is worthy of.

Oh, All of them are nice...

Except that one that got the promotion last year. What a complete ass. I bet that mod spends the whole day kicking puppies and fondling people in the subway.
