Its the future about 2697, people have developed a new way of walking. This way of walking is called Wanzers which are giant metal gear like machines(if you've heard of Metal Gear) with cockpits in the front(windshields of course). Only these have now been used as vehicals, only special Wanzers have been equipped with weapons(ie. army,police,special forces,etc.). In the story the characters are a special squad, called the Durandal. There would be many plot twists and turns like the introduction of new friends and foes. Also a story of trust and betrayal.
This is what information will have to be submitted in order to join.

Left Shoulder weapon: (missle and grenade lauchers)
Right shoulder weapon: (same as left)
Backpack:only choices are, (EMP,Item, turbo, radar, repair, and jetpack.)
Battle skills:

Backpack descriptions:
EMP: Disables electronic devices and vehicals. You can disable enemy attack system or movement system. Can disable guidance systems to enemy missles.
Jetpack: Pretty much self explanatory.
Item: Hold items such as repair, weapon ammo, and equipment.
Turbo: Move at faster speeds then the enemy. Help guide missles towards the enemy.
Radar: Spot enemies from as far as 10 miles away.
Repair: Can replace Wanzer parts as well as repair body damage.

Rules:
You can only have 1 backpack.
Can't hold 2 weapons that normally take two hands to hold.
When you have a two handed weapon, you can have a shield as well.
When you have a shield it is connected to your arm, which means you can't switch hands.
You can have up to 5 battle skills.
If you have a two handed weapon in one hand, you have a shield connected to the other with the exception that both hands are holding on to the weapon.

sounds interesting i might join, although do you make up battle skills yourself or are they alredy existing?

All Battle skills are currently ones from a game i recently played and got the idea that it sounded like a good story for Rping to.
If you want, you can make up some battle skills and run them by me and i'll see if they can be improved.
No magic though.

Wanzer info: Light armored Wanzer for use in quick strike operations, much armour has been removed for it too be able too move faster and therefore easier confuse the enemy. The shields is the primary defense.
Special forces rank: Liutenant (?)
Left arm weapon: Has a shield mounted on the side and a long sharp blade that is placed on its hand. (can it be laser powered at the the edges?)
Right arm weapon: same as left.
Left Shoulder weapon: Turbo rockets
Right shoulder weapon: same as left
Backpack: turbo.
Battle skills: Turbo BP (while using blades) Decapitate: (with its speed Assault is able too attack other Wanzers from behind and attack at the weaker spots) Shield bash, Turbo Shield charge (requiers the use of turbo rockets) (i will probably add more)

This will be up for two more weeks, if more then 5 people join i will start the story. I can start with 5 people, but if no one else joins by then im gonna close it and open up a new story.
As in battle skills, you can have charge I or charge II, charge II is more powerful but leaves you open to attack. Another battle skill is Shield Bash in which you use your shield as a weapon. A turbo BP battle skill is heavy punch where the speed your going at adds to the amount of damage the enemy takes.
As ranks go, they go from normal army ranks such Private to 5 Star General.
There can only be 1 of each rank. As shoulder weapons go, you can only have missle/grenade launchers unless you wanna substitute those for booster rockets. But if you combine the rockets with the turbo backpack it could be a hazard, because a wall might be in the way or maybe a teammate might be. Its your choice to have boosters or missle launchers as your shoulder weapons/equipment. A battle skill for your blades could be either a dismemberment move(can name it yourself), or a quick kill stab move which had a 50/50 chance of happening(can name it also). Just post here again for more info. You can just edit your post for changes.
Also, you can make up your own battle skills, just as long as they are reasonable.

So do we have to use swords for hand weapons?
If not what are our options?
