A new DDR-related Brain Anuerism

Super Mario DDR. Discuss.

I don't get it.

Allow me to break it down for you. Super Mario Bros. + DDR. Yeah, that's about all there is to get. It appears that Nintendo is releasing a DDR knock-off featuring Mario and other Mario Bros. characters.

Let me break it down for you. I meant I don't get your brain Anuerism comment.

And it might be a joint Konami/Nintendo game, as the setup looks exactly like DDR. And Nintendo has joined up and made games with almost every major Japanese company in the last 5 years.

Personally, this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside because it means that (hopefully) Ill be able to get DDR without purchasing a whole new system.

Maxis, I'm pretty sure I see a Lewis Black reference in the title here. BFS probably thinks, and I know that I think, that this makes no sense, other than they're milking the cash cow known as DDR. It's one of those things that make you go "Wtf?!" Y'know, like the girl in the resturaunt that said, "If it hadn't been for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college." You just keep thinking and thinking about it, wondering how the hell it makes sense, until your brain can't take it anymore and you get an anurism.

And this is why I'm glad I only DDR on my computer... this is definitely a ploy to make more cash using two major icons in current gaming culture, but it's nice move , having DDR come to the GCN. If the music is REALLY good it'll eventually be ripped into StepMania and I may continue my non-ownership of current-gen consoles without a worry.

If this game really comes out its just another games for people to play in place of DDR because there to scared to go to the arcade and play. If you want to practice at home and the only system you have is a GC I can see it as a good thing. But DDR is better in an arcade at least thats my opinon.

Yeah, that was a little something called sarcasm. An exaggeration. Basically, I don't see the point of all this DDR bandwagon jumping. It's the same game, no matter how you slice it, serve it, dish it up, whatever. All this DDR is, frankly, giving me a headache.

IHateMakingNames 01-07-2005 04:00 PM

The bottom picture doesn't seem to be dancing, and I doubt Nintendo would just copy DDR with Mario characters. There's probably new things to do (Though the main part would be the DDR).
