WoW, i just haf to kno
i just have to know, seeing as its way to expensive: is it really that good, i have read all the reviews (and studied the wow webpage :rmage: ), and so far its all i really ever wanted. but then again, i have been ripped by reviews before*thinks about damned Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance 2, which was a BIG dissapointment*
and another lil question: does the intelligence really mather and does shapeshifting with the druid cost mp/manna/whatever u wanna call it? With does int really mather, i mean is it like: 1) omfg im out of manna from that entangle spell i casted... once, or is it like 2) i wont be taking out an entire army of ancient wendigos, but ill do against 5 or 6 y i ask: wanna b darkside guy, and nature loving spellcasting minotaur (tauren then) lover i am: only choice is tauren druid, but ill do as a troll shaman i suppose... and finally, (yes, with this i wíll stop nagging bout the game , at long long last) does the shapeshifting of the duid work like in diablo2: for example str goes up with 65%, or in 3d ed rulz dnd boar: goes to str 15, even if u r 18str, or like air elemental str goes +5, plz answer my long and pain in the ... questions |
i don't think any of that was english. either that, or half the keys on his keyboard are missing. anyway.
shapeshifting isnt quite like it was in D2. you have to earn your animal forms, and each one is pretty specific in what it does (bear = tanking, cat = fighting, fish = underwater). you do get certain bonuses, but im not sure what they are; mostly HP modifiers i think. inteligence is pretty important. i mean, if you're gonna be a spellcaster (and 2/3 of a druid's abilities are spells) you're going to want it. remember that inteligence also effects the learning rate of your skills (staves, defence, etc.) Spirit is the only stat that i consider to be of lesser importance (effects hp/mana regen) because you can get alot of food/drink to recover yourself. |

it is way too expensive seeing as u have to pay another 12$-15$ a month (and srry its so badly written... i guess ill have to correct it a bit if i want any answers... ffs)

for the monthly fee, you do get quite a decent game. i've yet to see what kind of patch/update schedual however, which is really the important part for me. |
C'mon. $12-$15 a month isn't that bad. You probably spend twice that on fast food/movie tickets/magazines/etc anyway. Just cut back a little on the other stuff so you can afford it. Then again, I could be wrong. I'll just say this: if you can somehow manage to scrape up the $14 every month, the WoW experience is well worth it.

i guess ill have to go hunter night elf and druid night elf... or maybe ill just make a troll hunter... or hell ill just see but can any of you plz answer my questions involving shapeshifting? |
I'm sure blizzard would love to have more of your money if you wanted two accounts. however, i don't really see why you would need two of them. i mean, other than having a dedicated mule.
check at www.thottbot.com for information relating to nuts and bolts issues such as shapeshifting stat bonuses. hmm, just went there myself and the website seems to be having some problems. if i had to guess, i'd say its a percentage bonus to stats. |
I don't think another account would be necessary. You can have multiple characters on the same account. Go with Wrecks' suggestion on shapeshifting. I don't know anything about it.

I happen to have a druid, hes a Nelf but still a druid. The bear gets extra armor and +% attack power(and its own unique set of skills only useable in that form), the cat gets extra attack speed and a +% to attack power(same as bear, own skills) the water form i dont know much about, its kinda just fast underwater... and travel form is +40% movement speed. all forms are immune to polymorph, except the druid, he can still be turned into a sheep...
to my knowledge, i havent tested it much, but every 1 int is 10 mana, but there has to be a base amount of mana to start with, and your int adds to it.(my priest has ~2000 and only ~145 int) the druid can take on about 2 equal mobs at once, 3 *maybe* but they'd have to be at least -1 or 2 lv. all depends on skill and talents. yes shapeshifting costs mana, but reverting doesnt, and ususally you wont care about the mana, because your going to be killing off the mob in that form anyway. |
