Specificities (and yes I'm making this up) means personal differences you have between the "average" normals.

Like I prefer women with black hair over blondes, very odd indeed! (sarcasm)

The other thing that I'm hitting at is Specific Hot. What are the traits that you find attractive in the opposite sex that is specific for you? Like the aforementioned prefer black hair for me I also prefer taller women with a smaller build, and atleticism. Other little things are I prefer women who are loners, etc etc. Is anyone else seeing where I'm going with this?

What are some of your specificities? Then lets discuss others and our own to figure out what exactly makes us a little different?

Let's not make it exclusively the opposite sex. You never know how people swing.

I like many different types of women. There are a few "must haves," though. She has to have a sense of humor. She has to be very tolerant (to put up with me). She has to be very intelligent (preferably equal or smarter). She has to be able to dance and she has to like being feminine.

As for physical "specifics," that doesn't really matter. As long as she is pretty healthy and takes care of herself.

I've always though most people can be attractive as long as they take care of themselves, exercise and live healthy lifestyles etc.

I never wanted to be a person who was attracted to certain "looks" and I still don't think I am, but there is just a certain archetype that I can't get out of my mind.

have you ever read the Neil Gaiman series Sandman? anyone ever seen an illustration of Dream's older sister Death? Thats it right there, not only the look but the air, the attitude, something about me is drawn towards a streak of tragedy, not sure why.

It all really ends up coming down to something beyond appearance though, whatever that is for me specifically really isn't important. In general, I think most people want a mix of familiarity and similarity as well as difference and incongruity.

All the angles can't add up perfectly, there should be gaps so to speak, at least thats the way I see it.

While physical 'specificities' are not as big a motivating factor as other things, i'm more atracted to women who are shorter than I am, and to women with long, dark or red hair.

Otherwise, the basic requirements are a lot like Adamark's. Mostly I just don't want a 'rich, young, dumb, nimphomaniac' (that's a song in case you were wondering), who'd see three other guys on the side, get herself pregnent, and blame it on me.

Black hair (natural, fake black hair is ugly), a natural tan, and accents (not required but HOT). They have to have a since of humor, and nice to people.

these are all acceptable definitions of fetish. None of these coincide with the aims of this discussion topic.

This is more along the lines of trying to discern what that special "something" is for everyone, at least thats what I gathered.

I have a strange opinion when it comes to this. I prefer the girls with…darker personalities you could say. Right now the girl I'm trying to get to go out with me wears all back every day except for the few times she wears a brown trench coat. Also, she is characterized into the "Goth" stereotype and embraces it. I guess I just like girls like that.

I prefer the ones that retain their original genitalia.

I like people who can be comfortable in silence. Those that can understand what is being said when the room is quiet. If you have to make small talk, that means you aren't comfortable around me.
If that counts as a fetish, I have lost all understanding of the English language.

I'm into just about any girl who shows an interest in me. Then I find out that they have some disgusting sexual thing going on. But the one's who aren't incredibly perverted, yeah, any interest shown and I'm into her.

But just 'cause I'm into someone, doesn't mean I show it :p .
