No, they did worse. They made it so that a genjutsu serves as kage bushin no jutsu for his Kikai (bugs). Also there is no kawarmi in this rpg. If you recreate your character with an actual Bio and change there appearance so that it is not exactly Shino, then, IHMN should consider you. But as is, there is too much wrong. Bio: Taiju is from a small leaf village clan with no real unique skills. The Daikoru Clan has no skill in creating jutsus, but instead they focus on sword techniques. Being from the country of fire, they felt it appropriate to utilize this element in there techniques. Taiju is very good at weilding a flaming sword, although his hand to hand skills are weak due to excessive burns and calluses caused by his constant physical contact with fire.

Other: Taiju keeps to himself, even among his teammates, though he does enjoy playing the ocarina(the japanese flute version, not the Zelda one).

A large trend of taijutsu (Which is the basis for most ninja, so it's not that big of a shock). If I am wrong on a summary, tell me(So when your character starts fighting in a way I did not expect, you will not get in trouble).

Just to be clear, Chumaru uses his kodachi mostly as a shield. Most of his attacks will be his illusionary knives. So he mostly uses genjutsu, with ninjutsu to make his illusions worth dodging and taijutsu for defense. Don't expect him to get into a sword fight (intentionally).

Also, have you divided us into teams yet, or are we dividing ourselves?

Everyone can add a more advanced abilitiy to their characters, except for Ryu and Rhiya. Not something of Rasengan level, but something that makes your character stand out.

Rhiya and Ryu's characters are special enough, and I let more skills for them slip by because their character sheets were good.
