I said, nothing major. Lotus has the capablility of Hokage level fighting at genin level.

Something like Grand Fireball, or that adrenaline, bleeding thing Ryu has.

------------

Name: Mitamitsu Mori
Age: 14
Appearance: Mori looks very un-intimidating. He has short, brown hair and a gentle face with green eyes. He wears a soothing green shirt with a leaf emblem on the back. He wears black pants, with his shuriken holster tied to his left thigh. Around his waist are several kunai and bomb holsters. His forehead protector is tied onto his left arm.
Weapons/Equipment: Ten kunai and four smoke bombs total is his waist holsters. 12 shuriken in his shuriken holster. He has one holster full of seeds.
Ninja Techniques:
Taijutsus:
Nothing beyond the basics (Use a kunai to deflect some shurikens, beat up non-ninjas)

Ninjutsus:
Dance of Leaves - Causes the surrounding trees to grow and shed a large amount of leaves.
Leaf Knives - Mori molds his chakra into leaves, causing them to became razor sharp.
Entangling Roots - Any tree or root Mori touches will grow and spread, aiming at the target.
Entangling Vines - Same as Entangling Roots, but uses vines instead.
Growth - Mori weaves his chakra into a seed or sapling, causing it to age years in seconds.
Also has many smaller, battle-worthless ninjutsu's which are used for gardening.

Bio: The Mitamitsu family is known for their plant manipulating jutsu's, and being expert gardeners. Mori is no exception. He grew up gardening, and was taught how to use ninjutsu to aid in his gardening. Once he entered the academy, his father taught him offensive ninjutsu's. Mori prefers to take the peaceful route, and dislikes fighting.

i always figured since you practically tear your own body apart while using the primary lotus that it evened out; oh well; (i'm going to assume i can create a move so...)Is this considered major

World of Darkness: A move Miso created to give her the advantage. This technique can only be performed while standing within her opponent's shadow. Four hand symbols (Bird Rat, dragon, snake) are formed. While in this state the opponent believes they are surrounded by complete darkness; and sounds are dampened. Continuing this illusion requires a contant moderate flow of chakra, and Miso to avoid physical injury.

I can't wait to start.

How about this?
Linked Mind Skill: Taught to Chumaru by his grandpa before he died; the only known users of this skill are the Tasukete family. After a long (about an hour) reading from a scroll and about fifteen minutes of hand signals, Chumaru can create a one-way mental connection with, at most, five people. He can send short messages ("I'm ok," or "Look out!") to the connected people. His five connectees are his parents, Taiju, Jikkouchu, and Sacho. Each message takes chakra to send and can be sent to one connectee at a time. Chumaru cannot recieve messages through the connection. The connection ceremony must be repeated entirely to change connectees. The tech is useful for informing his team-mates about where he is (distraction often involve leaving the group) and other things.

The only telepathic tech I saw was Ino's, so I think this's fairly unique for the setting.

It's worthless, and doesn't fit in with anything I have ever seen in Naruto. Worthless, because there are communicators in this world (Naruto is a modern world, minus guns and other various things). And it doesn't fit in because of the scroll reading (Which no jutsu ever really needs), and 15 minutes of hand seals (There are only 12 hand seals).

Six, that works.

How about Fire Blade: A small flame appears on the end of his knife. Chumaru swings it and a long crecent-shaped blade of fire is flung from the end of the kodachi.

It's based (in concept) on the Kaze no Yaiba, except it requires the kodachi (because if he started it on his hand he'd burn himself) and is, obviously, made of fire, not wind.

Also, 12 signs can take 15 minutes if they're repeated, not that I know of any real techniques that require a seal to be used more than once.

SixnineDragon 01-26-2005 06:43 AM

i'm pretty sure the water dragon blast used repeated hand signs, but i'm not too sure on that

KaneInferno 01-26-2005 10:26 AM

It did, as did Gaara's sand sphere.

SixnineDragon 01-26-2005 12:09 PM

right before we get started i have one question, how is the Chunin exam going to play out? Considering there are two teams of PC's, are we just skipping to the semifinal/final match-ups, or are we elimanating npc's for story purposes? For that matter, is the exam handeled differently in the manga, because i'm basing all this on the anime.

IHateMakingNames 01-26-2005 02:43 PM

Nothing would take 15 minutes of simple hand seals though. If it's that complicated, it would be written seals.

The Fire Balde is better.

Gaaaa's sand was automatic, it required no seals of any kind.

Chunnin exam is chapter 2 or late chapter 1, so I'll answer that later.

Lastly, the manga and anime are identical.
