I can't believe no one made a thread about this.

SUCH A GOOD GAME.

it really is, not that over hyped, considering i haven't heard that much hype.

The only thing that bothers me is I can't figure out how to jump to the sides to avoid stuff being thrown at me.

That and a lack of the ability to strafe.

Never played it myself, but I've heard nothing but good things. I plan on getting it sometime before Spring Break. That is, if my finals don't kill me first.

I'm gonna be getting it but like all games (minus Suikoden and Zelda and a few exacptions), I am going to be getting it when its at the 20-30 dollar amount. RE1 Remake was so very good (one of my favorite games) and the one game I can say where them working as hard as they can to make the graphics amazing actually HELPED the game. I can only assume, with the same team working on 4 for 3-4 years and doing what seems to be the exact same things, that this game is going to be amazing.

Especially since IGN gave the RE1 GC remake a 9.0, and then turned around and now are calling RE4 the best survival/horror game ever made with a 9.8. Yes...eventhough IGN has some BIASes and they have hyped it a bit, I'm still going to say that this game is going to be at LEAST anywhere from a 9.5 to even a perfect 10. If IGN is going to give a 9.8 to RE4 when they gave a 9.6 to Wind Waker (considered to some to be too low a score) and a 9.8 to Metroid Prime (a score I think is a tad too high), AND this is the same score as they gave Metroid Prime which is in my opinion their most hyped game review....I think the game is going to be at the VERY least a really good game. Not to mention possibly one of the best in a while. Not going to say best game ever cuz I've never played it and I never do that. -_-

If I had a Gamecube, I'd get it.

However, I think you're supposed to shoot the things that are thrown at you.

after some more playing, yea i have to shoot them. Sucks that way, but then again i'm used to FPS at this point.

Its fun, especially the giant sea slug you fight. the one that everyone knows about.

*ahem* Anyways, I just found out that my friend has connections and can get RE4 for $30. It's giving me the warm fuzzies just thinking about it.

I lOVE this game, me and a buddie had a bet going whether or not the merchant would be a zomby, he lost so he coffed up for the 2 copys for me and him. THERS A SNIPER RIFEL!!!! omfg never befor and a resi game but now with the new system where you can accualy aim they did it! not only that but me, it takes alot to scare me and this game made me (not metiforcily but literaly) piss my self.

definitelly the BEST RE game yet, the fact that they added more action to the game makes it so much better. To those that have not a gamecube, fear not, because just like every other gamecube exclusive they say they'll have it's not and will be out on ps2 in about a year. that is official, not just be cursing capcom.

yea thats what sucks. I still can't believe they decided to make it for PS2

What's wrong with making it for the PS2? I know if I didn't have a GC, I'd be pissed if they didn't.
