Before I post everything else I will say this. You cannot be Ed or Al and you can't have Ed's power, and you cant be a body less soul like Al.

Deep in enemy territory a blinding light could be seen. A dome of light was resonating in the middle of a canyon. The wind seeming to be sucked right into the dome. On top is a bridge joining the two walls of the canyon. Trucks continually dropping materials into the orb. At the bottom and older looking man sits. Two more men stood behind him. Only wore a military uniform of a commander and the other wore one of an aid.

"Arnik when will the ship be completed. We have been feeding your project for days now."

Another man came towards them. He was dressed in black with a long overcoat. As he moved several metal cylinders could be seen inside the coat. He wore two gloves each with a slightly different transmutation circle. "My master will be completed when the time is right. Untill them let him finish his work in peace."

The commander was clearly angered and insulted by the young alchemists words. "The Kings spies have found out about what we are doing and he will be sending alchemists to investigate and destroy anything they find." The older looking man chuckled abit and replied. "My apprentices are more then a match for those military dogs. Leave it to them."

You are a state alchemist that has just received word from the King to enter enemy territory and investigate what they are doing in that canyon. You may have one power that you can call on at will. But you must have that powers transmutation circle on your body is some form or another. Remember your hand must be near the circle to activate it.

Special powers are what you can do without needing the circle. You still need a circle but you dont have to draw it. All will need my ok of course.

Auto-mail is allowed. But remember it will be high maintance and most look down upon those with it.

Nick Name:The Luminous Alchemist
Age: 27
Special power: Makes a blinding light by turning dirt in each sperate hand into substances that when mixed, produce a very bright light.
Circle: He has 2 gloves with small circles in the middle palm.
Appearance: A little on the muscular side, yet still a bit skinny. He has a bright blonde hair, kept about only 2 inchs long. You cant see his eyes due to the fact that he is always wearing sunglasses, very very think sunglasses.
Gender:Male
Bio: Seen alchemy in his childhood and was always fasinated by it. In school, he learned of a mixture that when done right, makes a blinding light for a half-second. After learning of it, he tried using alcemy to make the stuff, but realized that he had to use 2 circles, one for each part, to make it work. Before taking his test, he seen a battle to where a man wearing a glove with an alchemy circle made a great blast of fire. He decided to impliment that stradegy in his test and managed to become a state-alchemist.

Whoa, really? That's awesome.

Nick Name: The blade alchemist
Age: 19
Special power: He can make any weapon that only requires metal to make out of any small piece of metal (swords, knives, katana's, etc. etc.). (He usually carries around 5-6 kitchen knives on him)
Circle: It's burned into his hand.
Appearance: He has white hair tied back into a ponytail, and wears a white cloak,with a black shirt and blue jeans under it
Gender: male
Bio: He took fencing classes all through his life up to the age of 16. He excelled and is a very good swordsman. He deiced to become an alchemist to further his prowess with a sword and found that he excelled in it. He became a state alchemist to learn all he could about alchemy. He has a strong sense of moral justice and a shady personality. He prefers to stay close to his friends/ partners and travel in a group.

capt, swiss you cant make any weapon. Since the circle would need to change for length and shape. So you can only make a singular weapon, but you can make it out of anything.

Well, I wasn't going to sign up for another RP until I finished the ones I'm on, but Full Metal Alchemist is too good to pass up.

Special Power: Can control the power of the sea by condensing the water vapor in the air around him and using it to perform attacks with water
Circle: Inscribed on a keepsake staff he carries with him.
Appearance: Medium size, well built, brown hair, green eyes, blue cloak with a red shirt underneath, jeans.
Gender: Male
Bio: Grew up near the ocean and has had a fascination with water all his life. When he was 15, his mother drowned in the ocean. He decided to deal with his grief by becoming a state alchemist to use the power of water to help people. However, having becoming a state alchemist just over two years ago, he has become fairly jaded with the system after having dealt with the inherent corruption in the military.

Ok, but the weapon is a katana. Ok? How many people do you think will be in this when we start?

Name: Jim Howard
Nickname: Burster
Age: 22
Special Power: Uses trace elements in the air to create a combonation of chemicals which bursts into flame upon contact. Could be a spark or an explosion depending on the traces of certain subltances in the air (the DM would decide how well it works, of cource)
Circle: On the butt end of hid dagger hilt
Apearance: Jet black hair and beard. Tall and thin. An outdoorsy type with the apearance, and usualy the odor, of a person who doesn't have the lugsury of regular bathing.
Gender: Male
Bio: Living in a farm house in the woods until the age of 18, Jim developed some good habits and some bad habits, the best being an affinity for alchemy, mostly to start the fire quickly in winter or on the trail. His intention was never to become a state alchemist, but the old house burned down one day when the elements he used to feul his power were thicker in the air than usual due to near by industrial emissions. With only one talent, alchemy, he decided to put it to good use rebuilding his life. He seems to have more affinity, however, using it to rebuild the lives of others.

Errm, I've never seen the show/comic will that matter?

I dont have time right now but I will add my character later.
Theres nothing better than FMA.

I thought since we were state alchemist, we would be wearing the traditional blue coat they wear.
