Celes rode along in silence, though through the rubble, she thought she saw something rather big moving around in the distance. "Cloud, what else can you tell me about this Midgar Zolom?"

OOC: That's a scary thought, there, FC. o_O
Cloud kept his eyes on the path ahead as he drove along. "From what I can tell you, it was last seen leaving the swamp to the southeast of here. Since then, there have been several rumors of it moving into Midgar, though no confirmed reports have been made. For a description, last I heard, it was about 10 meters long, black back, grey belly, and it looks like a cobra type snake." Cloud took his eyes off the road for a second. "Why, do you see something like that?" |
OOC: Not to mention one of the espers from ff6 looks a bit like the Zolom...

And also, from what I can tell from your discription, it almost sounds like one of the espers from my world. It's name was Terrato, and had some quite powerful Earth-based attacks. And with another Magirock similor to this one, we were able to summon him. The one I have with me was able to bring forth Alexander, one of our most powerful espers." Celes said, showing Cloud her Magirock. "And from what you told us about your Materia, it almost sounds like they're very similor." |
Palom, sitting in the back, heard none of this.

Rydia suddenly peered at some moving rubble, which suddenly was hurled out into the road they just passed through. Two somewhat small houses literally walked on their legs and started trampling after the trucks, metal hooks and skulls dangling out of their windows. Rydia got to her knees in the truck bed and began building flames in her hands. "We got company!" She said through clenched teeth as she summoned the power of fire into her grasp.
OOC: "It's one of the more notable FF VII creatures, Hellhouses." |
OOC: Yea I remember those.
"Oh, crap!" Tifa looks at the two monsters behind her. She mashes the gas and gets the blue truck next to Cloud's truck. She rolls down her window and tries to talk to Cloud, "Cloud!! Cloud!! Should we stop and fight or just mash the gas?!" |
"What the!? I have seen a lot but moving houses?"
'Cecil put his hand on the hilt of his sword and made himself ready if they would need to fight' "You guys Ready?" |
OOC: They're also known as Armstrongs in FFIX, I believe.
... Man, am I an FF nerd, or what? ><; IC: As an answer, Cloud sped up. He wanted to get to Midgar, and face off against whatever it was that threatened their worlds. |
"We've got three more over here!" Celes said, jumping out and drawing her sword. Then, a whistling noice made her look up and she saw five bombs coming in on them. "Incoming!" She yelled.
OOC: A five-way Hell Missile attack? This'll be fun! |
Rydia shifted her weight and unleashed her spell. The blast of fire melted away one of the missiles, but the other four were still coming fast. "Brace for impact!" Rydia screamed, covering her head and neck.
