The Orbs of Density
 

So.. the legend claim that the four Light Warriors will be carrying the Orbs of Destiny, right.

Well, if the Earth Orb is in Dwarfland, Knight, Ninja, Red Wizard and White Wizard can't be the legendary heroes.

...yeah.

So what were the orbs they had then? The Orbs of Density?

(Sorry, but I had to do that, especally with the way it was spelled in the thread title.)

Short version: The Light Warriors carry orbs, but they are merely symbols to signify them as such.

The world has Orbs of Light which keep the world running. When they go out of whack, warriors of destiny will come to set things right and you will know them by the orbs they carry.

Perhaps the Light Warrior's orbs need to be used in conjuction with the Orbs of Light, to like, fix them or something?

I thought they were just light bulbs.

We're talking about two different Light Warrior groups here. There's the Light Warrior group that the comic actively follows, and there's the Light Warrior group that constantly has bad things happen to them, and only makes the occasional appearance.

They actually had orb-like symbols, but they weren't even luke warm with destiny.

Anyway, since this question comes up so often, as well as the question of upgrades, maybe you (Brian) should put this into the FAQ. That way, whenever either question comes up, you can say, Read the FAQ and give them a link.

Its save you so much hassle.

As to what the Orbs the Light Warriors, actually are, here's my take. Imagine the Orbs are shirts, with the following statement written on them:

I'm a Light Warrior of Destiny, and all I got was this Lousy T-shirt.

Now, replace T-shirt with Orb, and you pretty much get the idea.

Well, if they're like jumper cables, then king elf is screwed, because the ones with the real orbs, the real LW's, are locked up (in elfland...hmm, the irony)

All that the LW's were following have are light bulbs! (If they didn't throw them away already...wait... they definatley threw them away already)

So far as I can tell, in the original game, the Four Orbs the Light Warriors held were the counter to Chaos' Dark Orb of Time Travel. Each of the Fiends had their own Dark Orb as well. When each Fiend was defeated, the Dark Orb would be shattered and the LW's Orb would become lit.

However, 8BT is not the game. The destined Light Warriors have their Orbs, but they're not out killing Fiends. Instead, our intrepid group of bunglers with a few light bulbs filched from King Steve's Kick Ass Light Bulb Sockets is going after the Earth Orb held by the Elf and Dwarf nations at various times, and more recently by the thief the Elves hired. (most likely the Vampire) This Earth Orb is the proximate reason we get to see lots of burning Dwarves. If you had to tie it in to the game, it would probably be Lich's Dark Orb.
