Waving his hand a pocket to a part of chicago far from here opens, in it is a dark yet well furnished room, in front of a fire place sits a chair "dear duke... The tasks have been done pare your instructions. should i eliminate them now or do you wish for them to be toyed with for more time"

An old raspy voice come out "no... my mage of paradox, they are not to die yet"

The young man moves his hand at the rift closes "like fire I am under order not to end your life. Maybe one of the other assasins will have that honer, or maybe he wants you to think you can do something by defeating one of the lessers"

He floats higher into the air then his body folds into itself, and nothing remains.

Locana runs at top speed to an empty alley several blocks away. She peeks around the corner to see where everyone else is.

*Sigh* "Thats why I hate being with vampires! They are so damn easy to scare!" John said with frustration as Locana ran away. "Luckily im not a devil..."

Dorienne helped the newcomer to his feet, but he stood and said he felt well enough to move on his own. She felt, more than saw, Locana dash off.

"Locana! Wait!" Her hoarse whisper couldn't be heard by anyone running away. Dorriene ran after Locana. Wherever she's heading can't be any worse than here.

"Ok, after we catch up to Locana we will need to find a new and safe place to rest. I hope My master is feeling like helping because otherwise we might be screwed." John said before running after Locana and Dorienne. "Damn vampire! Shes gonna get us all killed! Not that I will die really... But I feel like avoiding that fate." He said to nobody in particular.

Vhan ran after Locana changing into his lupus form to catch up quicker, they didnt need her running into any unwanted guests before they even were organized.

He stoped in front of her, changing back to his homid form. "Hold on, lets wait for everyone else", he said inspecting the alley for anything out of the ordinary for an alley.

The vampire dashed after the others who were probalby following that one who bolted as the pyrotechnics began. He slowed to a walk as everyone came into sight. "This wasn't exactly my idea of 'somewhere else'... does anyone here know a good spot where we can go? I sure as hell don't."

"Fire...." Locana kind of stood nervously in a corner as Vhan caught up to her, watching the others follow closely behind them.
