beyond poor taste that was just sheer stupidity!!!!
Really how ignorant do you have to be to do that?

Perhaps I'm empty on the inside, but I found the song quite funny. Or maybe I'm just a sadistic bastard. Edit: And apparently stupid enough to post my feelings on the forum, too.

Yes, you are very sadistic. What if one of your relatives suffered this fate?Would you still laugh or find it funny?

I find it very tasteless to make fun of a disaster. What if such would have happened to their relatives? Would they still make fun of it, or jump the barricades and spurred people to help those people?

Bah.

People make fun of everything, from Hitler to Mental Retardation and now natural disasters. what makes mental retardation funny but natural disasters off limits? And who died and made you king of comedy?

It's not worth fighting over a difference in opinions. I should have kept my mouth shut in the beginning. I apologize for any righteous anger I may have incurred.

for some reason a johnny carson reference here seems both an appropriate example, and inappropriate example.

Well....it seems that great minds think alike, since I've never heard of Johnny Carson. Please enlighten me on who he is.

Mike McC 01-29-2005 02:20 PM

Johnny Carson was the undisputed king of late-night. He hosted The Tonight Show for many many years, and retired several years back, and Jay Leno got the Tonight Show (though he probably didn't deserve it). He died recently, much to the sadness of many.

Oh. Thanks for your sharing of knowledge. Though I didn't know that was a Johnny Carson quote..... Which was logical considering I didn't know who he was.

It's really boring when I try to be nice. Put up with me.
