Final Fantasy Chronicles for DS?
 

I was just thinking (Yes, I know, a very frightening prospect.). If they remade FFI & II (FFOrigins) for GBA, does that mean they're gonna remake FFIV and Chrono Trigger for DS, and possibly even better, FFV & VI? I think it would be pretty cool if they did, and if they don't, they will be punished. But, that's just me.

They probably won't because they already did the remakes for the PSX. And also because they're still selling those remakes.

Heck yeah! The more FF games I can fit in my pocket, the better. The only FF game I don't want for the DS is FF:CC, as that would kind of defeat the purpose of making you play with on the GC with GBAs in the first place. Although being able able to move on your own would be huge plus, damn you miasma and crystal chalis!

True, but FFI & II (Origins) were already made for PSX as well, and they were remade as FFDawn of Souls. I still don't see why they wouldn't. :fighter:

BTW: To "The Bear": We're talking about FFChronicles, not Crystal Chronicles. There's a huge difference. FFC was FFIV and Chrono Trigger combined in one disk, while FFCC is a game for GCN. If I'm getting the wrong idea from what you're saying, tough, correct me, please.

Oh, I forgot about how they named the FFIV and CT combo "Chronicles". Or was that FFV and FFVI? I really don't remember. I thought that you were thinking about FF:CC being wireless and all that. My bad. My opinion still stands, but now for a little post editing...

I never realy liked FFIV because in that game, either the monsters are way to strong of the characters are generaly about as durable as a wet paper towel. Honestly, it is way too easy to get your ass kicked in that game and even the most basic enemies have been known to knock out some of the less well armored physical fighters like Cid.

Crono Triger, however is a masterpiece of RPG gaming and to see it for the DS would be total sweatness.

I...(droolslobber)... can't get that most luscious picture out of my head: me, in school, with my DS, playing Chrono Trigger. Mmmm.

To clear things up:

Final Fantasy Origins aka Dawn of Souls: FF1-FF2 (NES)
Final Fantasy Chronicles: FFIVj-Crono Trigger
Final Fantasy Anthologies: FFVj-FFVIj

Personally, I would welcome with open arms (and purse) the addition of Final Fantasy Anthologies. Well, mostly FF3/6j.
