Name: Yakushi Dou

Age: 15

Appearance: Has spiky black hair with a small starburst of white in the middle. Wears a black jacket, a white shirt underneath and black jeans, as well as fingerless gloves. His headband is worn on his head, like any sensible person would.

Weapons/Equipment: Dou uses kunai of various sizes, as well as assorted ninja tools such as flash bombs, smoke bombs and so on. He also carries surgery tools, bandages and compresses, in addition to various pills. All this is is stored in a small backpack, with the important stuff located in easy-to-reach pockets. He carries this everywhere he goes, both to carry things, and also as a way of getting used to its weight on his back.

Ninja Techniques: Dou knows few offensive ninjutsu. As a soon-to-be medical ninja his training was focused on basic medical jutsu, most of which are not suitable for use in a combat situation. For the most part he channels chakra into his body to make himself stronger and faster, combining it with elementary taijutsu and ninja tools.

One jutsu he can use is Toushin no Jutsu, AKA Jiraiya's famed transparency technique. At this level of mastery it is only fully effective when Dou is more than ten feet away from any observers and/or moving very slowly (think a crappified version of the Predator cloak), but it is more than enough for his purposes... Admittedly it only prevents (somewhat) against visual detection, but it's still a pretty big bonus...

With regard to his medical skills, he has mastered quite a number of healing jutsus so far, but most of them have to be used in conjunction with surgical procedures. His expertise is not limited to wounds, however - he can treat illnesses and poisons as well, though he is by no means a healer out of legend.

Bio: Dou was born to the Yakushi family, so it followed that he would walk the path of the healer. However, even though he was bright, Dou was by no means the shining star he was intended to be. Like his father, Dou was a leader of men and a follower of women. Throughout his misspent youth, he seemed to channel his intellect into harassing the neighborhood girls, and it was only until recently, when he was informed that he might be chosen to take the Chuunin Exam, that he finally decided to buck himself up and take his studies seriously. Not that he needed much convincing - the subject of jutsu and medicine fascinated him almost as much as girls... though not as much.

Also, Istus and Sako, completely different animals, completely different justus. Sako turns into anima/animal turns into human, Istus merely has the snake an extra weapon, and (For clan purposes) to make poisons.

Just because two people use animals doesn't mean they would be int he same clan.

Also, Dante, no mastered medical techniques. Medical jutsus are some of the hardest ones to learn, let alone master. He may know how to use them, but not masted.

Which reminds me, Ryu, I often see your guy mentioning healing in your post. I hope you don't think he can heal people with chakra.

IHMN, I was referring to really basic stuff like relieving local pain and sealing small bleeding by touch. Nothing like what Tsunade can do, curing sword gashes by touch. I mean, you have to start small, and presumably Dou has at least covered the basics. So healing with him is mostly bandaging and stuff, no Lay-On-Hands-Viola-Be-Healed-My-Son! nonsense.

Well, then it's still not masted really. All he can do is heal small cuts and ease pain, not cure a gaping sword wound.

By how you look at it, it's mastering basics. How I see it, it's the beginning of real healing. It seems like there is mostly just one form of healing, where the medical ninja puts their hand over the wound, then focuses chakra to heal it. Depending on their skill, they can heal more, or less. I just see that as one skill (The weapon wound healing part, bones and other types of healing would be different).

And once Mr. V makes his character, new people can join the RP. Currently, Raidou (Your jounin) would have given you your chuunin exam passes, then offered to help training. If no one accepts, he would leave and characters do whatever.

For an opening post, I would need Mr. V's character as well. So, just start posting, and what happened with your team is your jounin (Raidou) already gave you your chuunin exam passes, and now you are doing whatever.

One question, how strong would Ssith be in physical strehngth, like contstricter strength.
