can we get to the actual chuunin exam? or will we do a bit more character development? |
I think I should have Dou's team fail.
Reason, when he grabbed Sako's breast, she would have had time to react (Even if it was 'quickly'). In that time, she could whip her arm around and hit Dou, knocking him over. He would lose concentration, his genjutsu would dissappear, and he would fail (Not just a two point loss). And due to previous Dou post, it seems like he makes a habit of doing this, so Sako would naturally react like that. Edit - Unless Rhiya decides that for whatever reason, Sako did not notice, or she did not react agressively. |
What special conditions are there that Dou's team should fail? The manner in which he cheated? How he was caught? What makes what he did 5 times cheating?

well, the fact that he groped Sako without her responding strongly enough would give penalty, but IHMN, I'm gonna stay a little nicer and just let it pass. Dou will PAAAAY in the next part :D

Please do not penalize our entire team for Viewtiful's foolishness. It was probaly just meant to be funny, don't let our entire team suffer for a joke.

It indeed was a joke. I'm just trying to stick to Dante's character here, although I think that perhaps I'm trying a bit too hard...
However, I'm sure that this'll only make things more interesting later in the exam, eh? |
It's not like any of his team will pass anyway.
And fine, it was a joke, but a joke that should cost them the exam. His team would fail because when one person fails, the team fails. It's an instant fail because he's in a horrible situation. If you want, I can give it five cheating catches to make a fail anyway (Out of seat, looking at other's paper, tricking examiner, out of hand-cuffs, left the bathroom unattended). Meh, I'll just throw some super genin at you during the survival. That doesn't mean you will instantly fail, but it's punishment for god-modding in the joke (Didn't give the other player time to react) |
that reminds me, it seams only me and Phil are still active for our team, one more is active but not positive in any case, not all of our team is active. So what should we do?

Houkama's character became a NPC a while ago.
Kane and Sixnine's characters are also NPC, as well as anyone else who isn't active that I missed. |
That seems a little screwy :( It's not mine or ecurt's fualt that viewtiful god modded. Now we are probaly gonna lose :( :( :(

Well, Pyros, here's what we do. We throw Dou and Kyasshu at the Super Genin and run. Otherwise, we outsmart the Super Genin or hope the other teams come up during the survival.

One thing, Viewtiful why wouldn't the examiner's see a person that is HANGING OFF THE CIELING! Have you thought about what he did. Anyone could see him unless he was invisible. |
Yes that would be a problem...except for the fact that Dou WAS invisible!

Unless you try to god mode another person and almost get us kicked out of the rp, and by the way we are probaly going to lose anyway to a super genin in survival because of you.

Don't get too worried about it, dude.
By that time, Dante will be back from his two-week break, and things'll be better again. He's known for being more clever than Ecurt at times, too. Besides, I haven't RPed in nearly a year. How was I supposed to know that was classified as a "Godmod?" The same could be said for everyone else cheating. It isn't too hard to notice a flower growing out of a cieling, a dog obviously passing answers around, a snake sticking out of someone's sleeves, and so forth. The only characters that are safe in this situation are Kyocho (BSing all of his answers), Kyasshu (same as Kyocho), and Miso (hard to cheat when you're blind, eh?). That said, I do concede that that was a bad move, and whatever I got coming I probably deserve. I'm just sticking up for myself, that's all. |
If the examiners can't notice a system of mirrors on the ceiling (From Naruto), I'm pretty sure a small flower bud would go unnoticed.
The snake isn't sticking outside of his sleeve, and it worked for Kiba (And Akamaru was in plain sight of everyone, even barking). Same basic thought for Kaoru, but obviouslt a large panter can't sit on Sako's head. The difference with Dou's was he grabbed another genin. Besides that, everything else he did could work. And really, the examiners can see everything everyone is doing (Most likely). In Naruto, the examiner was commenting on how Gaara was going to do his thing, and he knew about the puppet guy's puppet. It's just the sloopy cheating they check off. Lastly, jokes are fine and all, but I don't think things should go unconsequenced just because they are labeled as jokes. Also, Pyros, it's not like your character would have passed the exam anyway. |
Is that just a general insult or is no one passing the chuunin exam? What do you mean about I wouldn't pass.

You are getting so worked up over possibly failing the exam, I was just stating that your character's chances of passing aren't very good, like everyone else.
Most genin's take the exam many times. The only one that did pass was Shikamaru, while super ninja Neji and Sasuke failed. |
Oh I see. I am sorry that I got worked up over that. I did not no. I shall limit my complaining from now on. Everyone please next time you state a spoiler plz put it in black? That just ruined 1 or 2 books for me.

Not a big spoiler, mind you. Oh well, just a few points.
1) Mr. V, I will have to agree about the god-modding thing since you yourself helped describe it earlier. Doesn't matter if you do it or if Dante would normally do it...and in all fairness, I gave Kyocho the time to get smacked down by Sako, after getting her permission. 2) Small Spoiler about passing: Only Shikamaru has passed the test the first time. It is not revealed that Kakashi, Itachi, or any other ninja has passed their first time taking the test. Haku, being trained by Zabuza all this time, of course wouldn't have taken this test at all. Granted, the manga's chuunin exam was a little...special, but it is a very hard test. 3) Dante, more clever than me? NEVER!!!...or maybe, most of the time. But I won't go down without a fight! |

Mr. V, for all you know, Kaoru IS exploiting stressed out genins for petting. He's not ONLY doing it for Sako and her team's benefit, ya know :D And that Kaoru is a PANTHER not a dog :p |
I'm surprised that so many of us thought that all of us or most of us would pass. I think IHMN even said that probably none of us would pass.
While typimg that, I thought of this: how will we keep the failed genin in the RP? |
