On which one, the pilot or or the dress one? (or both?)
Oh, the pilot one. Sorry, I forget that people can't read my mind sometimes.

Hey I'm new to the forums although I have been reading through them for a while I just signed up. I love seeing other peoples works and to the people in this thread I just want to say your artwork is absolutly gorgeous. I have the biggest obsession with drawing and drawings in general and I thought this was a good place to check out other peoples artwork. I will post drawings but be warned that they could not compete with current artists among this group. Most things I draw lately are anime-ish since I happen to be falling into that style. Anyway enough rambling on:D

P.S Anything Cloud or Edward Elric is ALWAYS awseome.:p

Good, always nice to have another person posting thier stuff. I'm sure you don't have must to worry about as far as quality goes :P

As long as you put effort into it, you're fine.

First Sketch

A few months ago I did a sketch of one of my magic cards (yes im a dork lets get it out in the open lol) the Crimson Hellkite. but I cannot take credit for this because the original artwork I used as a reference is owned by Gerry Grace and Wizards Of The Coast Inc. The card shows the original artwork.

Niko-Ru: You can assume most people here are nerds =P The dragon looks cute (of course, I think dragons are cute...)

Alchemist: nice, like the contrast, though his arms seem a bit long. But I don't know if that's a style thing, seeing as I don't watch Hellsing.

Well, by sketch I'm assuming you mean "non-trace". If that's true...then you did a really good job. It looks almost exactly the same. I think I like your shading on the winds better than the original too.

And, yeah, I used to play Magic, and still would if I had people to play with. I keep one card around just cause I like the art on it too... ^^;;

I have a deck compleatly made of cards with art that i like.. *sigh* feeling geeky..

Niko-Ru 03-18-2006 09:38 PM

I didn't trace... the sketch itself is about 25 times the size of the card... I got bored at work one day with my magic cards lol. I first started collecting them for the art, the art on some of those cards is phenominal!

I have 2 decks thats are about 400 cards each :P hehe I'm not a nerd I swear it!
