Showing the whole thing here. Lineart is completed 'cept the dagger which I'm going to redraw again when I get the required reference screenshot. Primary reason why I'm disliking the dagger is because it looks too much like a main gauche in it's style and appearance. Since ol' Gloomcog is, by nature, a backstabbin' goblin a defensive oriented dagger isn't exactly....the best choice. The proper stabbing dagger is the next step to work on. Followed details, minor shadings, and a few touchups here and there that aren't settling well with me.

The shading on the boots has been fixed on the psd version (which I have yet to save as jpeg and upload). So, my damn slow progress is plodding away to near completion. Soon Gloomcog shall grace the World of Warcraft fanart gallery (hope hope hope).

Heh...I know I always say this, but MAN, the stuff I see here makes me feel like a hack whenever I post my own stuff. But self-loathing aside, here's my latest attempt at CGing:

Just a character I plan on running in a friend's upcoming Final Fantasy tabletop game. He's a Blue Mage, with a definite "fire" element going (in terms of abilities, not design motif.) I'll probably do some more sketches of the character when I get some inspiration, but for now, I can't really bring more than his face and shirt into focus in any coherant way.
