Celes, I've noticed with your drawings theres a lot of hit and miss when it comes to the quality. You'll be on good streak for a while and then it seems like regression and back to the good streak. Kinda fluctuating. Is this because they're rush jobs? Or just not putting forth the effort that I've seen you do before?

Not that I'm raggin on you or anything, it is just odd seeing you go from good to great to mediocre to less than par and back to great.

I've added more details that give more of a reason why he's looking at his hand. He went through the final two stages of his descent. Wrath and Murder.

A bit more to work on but it is all coming together.

Probably has to do with rush jobs (like the comics, I don't really put forth 100% of what I can do just because they're silly comics) And then there are times where I use a reference (like the most recent one) where it increases the ending look by a lot. (I think I'm pretty good at repeating what I can see, for example, here is a piece I did on oekaki a long time ago where I used a reference compaired to the kind of stuff I was doing directly from imagination back then.)

Besides that, there are always just good and bad drawing days and sometimes I just draw something quick to get artist-blocks away or to relieve stress. And there's times when I'm trying different coloring styles or something like that.

I guess that's my only explanation ^^

I just finished a new drawing (used a reference off of a wallscroll that I want ^^; )
My first time trying to do lineart with the pen tool and I have to say that I'm still fiarly confused on how to use it well, so if anyone has any advice or tutorials, that would be appreciated. ^^
