There are some problems with the arms that I can see, but I don't care enough to fix it, really. This is mostly for my own costume reference.

I really like that little chibi Ed there, CJ. Great work on the underside of the boot.

It's actually chibi human Alphose, but that's okay ^^ They look similar anyway.
I also love your sketch. Such a great costume design. ^^ Very nice.

New oekaki. Referenced from "Socrates in Love" a really touching manga.

Awesome guantlets ^^

I just started randomly sketching today and this is what came of it:

(thumbnail because it is large)

Fanart from Bluebird's Illusion (a chinese FMA fan game), from one of the very very sad endings. Ed is letting the Firefly grass be swept away by the wind, finally accepting what happened to Alphonse. ;_;

“…….how long are you going to stay like this?”
“……….”
“Fullmetal, if you’re unhappy, you can just cry……there’s no need to torment yourself like this.”
“Don’t disturb me! It’s almost time…..it’s almost time…..”
“……….Fullmetal, what are you talking about?! Snap to your senses, Fullmetal!”
*It starts to rain.*
“The firefly grass are about to bloom…..I know…..”
“What……bloom…..?”
“Those flowers….Al said if I hold them to my chest while they’re in bloom…..then we can sense each other…..no matter how far apart we are…..”

Anyway, hope you enjoy ^^

I like it, CJ, but the forehead seems a little bit too big and that it's sticking out too much.

This guy has no idea what colours he's wearing.

The forehead isn't what is off skit, it's the anatomy of Ed's head in general. The facial structure is more dominant in the zygomatic bone, maxilla, aveolar process, and mandible in Celes' drawing. Theres less in the upper cranial region as opposed to the lower half, which as a result gives Ed a kind of ape-ish look.

Or a picture link to make sense of my psychobabble.

Even though it is drawn in anime, Celes, my suggestion would be to brush up a little on some anatomy. Not doubting your talent or anything, just trying to get you to put forth more effort that I know you're capable of.

Ah thankies. Profile views have always been one of the things I constantly screw up on. And yeah, I know just because it's anime doesn't mean it can be out of proportion, I just screwed up that way. ^^;; Anyway, thanks for the advice, I will have to become familiar with more facial anatomy.

Skit- I love his ears and especially the earrings and his grin.

EDIT: and now I have to thank you Skweeb. Because of your post I was determined to put 100% of effort into the next thing I drew and this was the result:

160 straight minutes of laboring over a hot mouse.....
*dances* I'm proud of myself. *arm breaks*

Wow, that's beautiful CJ!

I was going through last year's school notes, and I came across this dragon that I drew during a math lecture... :sweatdrop Math class + ballpoint pen = an hour and a half of drawing fun!

Couple of my small sketch scans that i still have on my HD, hopefully I'll find my scanner cable and get you guys some more.
http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/3...lysmallkg7.jpg I did this in 9th grade

http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/8...15smalljz3.jpg This one was confinscated because I was supposed to be doing a negative space sketch in college.

http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/8002/bigheadmb4.jpg This was about 3 years ago.

http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/9633/cschickld3.jpg This was...damn 2 years ago. I've done like 2 sketches since, both last week after reading WoT again.

Also what is the policy on figure drawings? Are tasteful sketches allowed in attachments with disclaimer?
