I've been in a people drawing slump lately and last night I felt like I needed to draw something or else I'd start getting rusty. So I drew my signature icon the GrungeCo. Trashbot. It's still in progress, like almost everything else I've drawn..., but as it is right now I'm liking how it has turned out. I've been delving into the realm of larger-than-needed quick coloring techniques lately. Always making an effort to learn something new!

Eventually I'm planning on working the lines out of the picture and giving the shape itself more definition.

Now I see the thing on his side is not an eyeball hanging from a broken ballast, rather it is the arm of the fellow. Lightbulb turns on, and it becomes a thing of magnificence.

On another note, was playing around with the cheapo pencil crayons, and fabricated this little fantascape. I am not Picasso, neither am I Rembrandt, however I likes my own art.

Well, not watercolor persay. I'm using the brush tool with tweaked brush settings. For the lines I had the opacity reduced to about 73% and I did quick overlapping line strokes.

The original image size is 1728x1296 Pixels and I've zoomed out 50%. The brush for the inner shading was set at roughly 50 pixels and opacity 30%-ish. Quick brush strokes without paying attention to any particular area and instead I focused more on the overall look.

Technically one would call that 'speed painting'. A concept that I'm getting more and more interested in.

Quick sketch. Not done yet, but I feel like I want to post it. I plan on eventually coloring at or at least shading it via pencil. It's a gift for one of my friends. (her 4 favorite FMA guys in the pose of the Beatles from a popular photo of them my friend likes)

I guess if I had anything to say about it, it's that Roy's head seems a teeny bit squashed. But that's it. Just, wow.

Thankies. And yeah, something about Roy's head is bugging me. I think I know what I did wrong, (I think I tried to draw him looking down slightly, but I screwed it up) although I'm nervious about erasing his head and redrawing it... (drawing a head on a body is a pain for me). Maybe I'll just erase all of Roy and start over...
