Yeah, actually, that did a ton of help. Damn, I am so guilty of never adding in backgrounds... must... improve!

Seriously though, double thumbs up on the colouring.

Sir Pinkleton 05-29-2007 08:08 PM

It's funny, backgrounds are the one thing that I'm good at.

It still looks wonderful though, Romara.

Skit 05-29-2007 08:16 PM

That's really nice, Romara. I especially like the foreshortening on the boots and sword. The shading is really well done too.

Anyhow, some posters I did recently for my comic...

i personaly prefer black and white pics to colored ones. that way is up to your imagination. Terra wouldn't have green hair and Goku wouldn't have pink fur

Romara 05-29-2007 11:22 PM

A reason I mainly stick to pen lines with pencil shadings Perendius.

Badass coloring job Skit, you can do hair much much better than me. And the shadows look so much softer...
[edit]Dude Skit, I just read your comic, badass dude! great plot and good funnay![/edit]

@Romara: Very yes!

@Skit: Nice. I like the second one.

Grandmaster_Skweeb 05-30-2007 05:14 AM

Rejoice, rejoice!
Skweeb has a new drawing, he has returned triumphantly to the thread he posts most in~!

Edit: updated color version.

Demolition DeathSquid is going to be some fierce competition in the deciding what to get if/when I decide to get a tattoo. He reeks of squidly badassitude!

Very awesome Skweeb. I love the Deathsquid. He's just random and cool enough to be awesome. ^^

Skit- I really love how you colored those pictures. And great job with the hand on the one with the red haired guy.

Romara - Awesome. I love the outfit. Also, the boots = awesome.

I haven't drawn in awhile. I REALLY need to get back into the groove of drawing, but in the meantime, we've been cleaning for a massive garage sale and I found an old art project from 7th or 8th grade. And I thought I'd post it so I could feel somewhat artsy.

Did on cardboard, not sure why it's on cardboard but oh well. Also obviously referenced from Van Gogh's "Starry Night" (I love that piece)

Edit: in other cool, art related news. An old mural my art class did my senior year now decorates a National Historic Landmark. Yaay. I wish I could find a picture of it.. (I didn't have a camera that day and the website of the place sucks)

Demetrius 06-02-2007 07:21 AM

Skweeb man, if you don't use that as a tatoo, you mind if I steal it (someday when/if I get one of those tatoo things)?

CelesJessa 06-03-2007 03:31 AM

Huzzah. Staying up late I managed to sketch out something on oekaki.

Hohenheim and Baby-Edward, inspired by the two new FMA mangas I picked up today. For the first time in forever I'm fairly pleased with my coloring. And I drew a beard!!! Shock and Awe
