Ninja!

Thought I'd post again, but with a picture this time. This is a picture of a random ninja that I drew for a friend. It took awhile to actually get it the way I wanted it to, but after much trial-and-error, I did it!

I was proud of his feet this time. Something that usually doesn't happen...

Flatten the picture when done and it'll be great.

I wanted to cover the lines and i didn't want to go too deep into the layers

Two layers is all; no billion-piles of layers with insanely-almost-nothing-on-each or anything crazy.

I'm terrible for using layers, I usually only use four if I'm doing more detailed/shaded pictures, not like twenty. Two's my default: background and colour.

If you're gonna colour over all the lines, you usually gotta use shading a lot more to differentiate between surfaces of the same material. Otherwise things look a bit flat. I find it takes longer to do it that way but that's just my style.

S'right folks, I'm back!
This time with a project I'm definitely intending to finish! (as if you all haven't seen me say that line at least a dozen times already)
Edit: Spaulders added and colored. Touched up skin tones a bit more.

Soo... I've been playing paper mario lately. I just started sketching with no idea in mind, and this is what happened. It's a fun style.

EDIT woo I colored it too. I tried to get that barely shaded Paper Mario look. It was... different.

Fox!

Alright, I've got this picture of a fox I drew. I'm not used drawing animals so I thought I'd start to experiment. After many, many tries, I finally got something to look decent. I'm actually quite proud of it.

CelesJessa:
I like the overall look of it, although the faces look slanted. Like for Peach's bottom half of her face should've probably have been moved over a bit. Also, Mario's top half looked like it was stretched back and looks kinda wonky. Other than that, It's awesome!

Thanks very much! Yeah I see what you're saying now. I drew Peach and Mario's face in one go and I was so pleased I refused to erase it despite erasing the rest of the picture twice. XD Thanks for the constructive criticism though. ^^

I rather like your fox, I find I have such a hard time drawing stuff that isn't human, but you did a great job. And I feel especially drawn to the eyes. They're so pretty...

Skweeb- I always love your choice of colors and that is one mighty collar/face-covering thing. ^^

SHE LIVES! Yes, "She"

I want one for anti-vampire purposes now.

Sooo... I played portal at my buddy's house. Now I have my own Pocket Companion Cube, named Cubey! Cubey is a girl. She was made out of a mixture of bendy and non-bendy sculpey, so that once cooked, she could be carved into her final form!

Yup, in an awesome twist a fiery hot oven is what make little Cubey. Take that, you stupid incinerator!
He was only doing his job.

Click for something much bigger.

This took waay to long for a comment. Sorry!

That's really fantastic Fisi-Visi. I rather like the green background with the swirls, but all of it is equally awesome.

Khael - Aww cute little cube. How big is it?

EDIT: Oh yeah. I drew an original character. I know *gasp* something original from me.

He's pretty gay looking and I didn't realize until later that he looks a lot like Jak so... out goes the green hair idea (any other suggestions for hair colors?). I'm thinking he's probably some rich spoiled prince of some sort. I drew another character that isn't nearly as gay looking, but I haven't inked her yet.
