Yay for drawings! The place hasn't been active in two days and I am scared. So I come with 150 cc's of art and comments! I don't know where to start so I'll just start somewhere.

Celes: Fancy picture, your colouring makes me sad in that it's awesome and mine is blah.

TDK: Your angels are getting better and that's cool, I like that. Also, I'd say your forest fire pic rivals the one about how you saved Santa (and ultimately Christmas, if I remember correctly?) for the best piece ever.

Rick: I don't know whether to laugh or to shudder. But I laughed anyway. For some reason I can see you drawing Mario and making him look awesome.

Savage: Nicely done landscape and horse (or pony, I keep thinking pony). Might I suggest mashing the two together? The horse drinking from the water? Or the landscape covering the horse? Actually that'd be pretty sweet...

bluestar: Very cool guy, I like his, "Yo, check this out" stance going on there. To echo sentiments about facework, don't try and do one or the other first. Actually... it's easier to draw the face if you've got the boundaries of the head already. Much easier because then you know that you're not going to make a chin that juts out way too far and just looks stupid or something like that.

CJ: Your Link is a silly and I think it suits him. Really, at that age he has no business running around saving the world. In fact, what you drew is how he should act.
Also, your lineart mermaid/winged people is pretty neat. Is it bad that I got kind of dizzy?

Doc ock: Cool pose, very nice work on the hand and arm. You're going places.

It's a stylized self-portrait I was inspired to draw after seeing a picture of Viral from TTGL, baring his teeth and looking awesome. So I thought I'd try it too. And so this was born.

It also serves as my current Facebook profile pic 'cause I like it so much.

Hairy Tophat! Pretty cool. I like the style in which you did it. There's something about it that compells me to stare at it... It's all that hair. It looks so fuzzy. I also like his grin.

And I'm glad you liked my Link picture and my Mermaid one. Hah I hope it's a good thing that you got dizzy.

I dunno...the hair on his shoulders and arms doesn't read right. It looks like he has some sort of fungus growing on him.

I'm not sure how you'd go about fixing that, but maybe just make it less spikey or make it a scribbley texture rather than an opaque shape.

There's a severe lack of me in here which had to be fixed.
 

THA, one thing that bothers me about the guy is his face. The way his face scrunches up like that doesn't seem right. Also, his lack of forehead bothers me. The patches of hair on his arm doesn't look very believable. Even if he wanted it to look like that, it really looks out of place. It could be just me though.

Pretty kickass drawing though. The style really is something different.

CJ, the angel looks good. The wings look stupendous, although the lower half of his body looks too long. Actually, his torso seems too long as well. It looks like to me that you drew the wings first and then tried to draw the body around it, which could be a big challenge. It really helps to just draw both on top of each other and then erase what's necessary. Of course, I'm just going on assumption here.

As for the mermaid, her neck is off. It just looks way to thick. The back part of the neck looks like it should be closer to her shoulder, and there seems to be no clear distinction between her throat and her chest.

What's going on with her hand? It kinda just hides behind the angel's. Also, how that hair curves upwards seems off. Just one of my many pet peeves about hair though. I'm really lovin' the background though.

As for that other picture, I'm really diggin' those nipple rings.

Actually I did draw the body and then drew the wings on top of it. :sweatdrop

I can see where you're getting the neck is too think thing. The back of the neck is supposed to be where the hair meets the neck (it's just not there because the hair is there instead, which I should have done differently) The position of her other shoulder makes it looks like she has a super-thick neck though, I noticed.

See: Lazyness. The greatest enemy of an artist. After drawing her hand on backwards, I decided to have it hide behind the angel's hand, because damn I hate hands, and obviously the best way to improve is to avoid drawing them [/is pathetic D=]
Thank you. Apparently I'm allergic to drawing backgrounds because I felt really ill while drawing it. :sweatdrop Glad it still turned out alright. Thank ya for your critique though. I will be careful not to make those kind of mistakes in the future.

CelesJessa - XD I don't think I'm ever organized enough to keep a specific palette... For actual cel-shading, I guess it depends how much time I'm spending... Either I'll just choose the colours or be 100% lazy and use a light greyish colour on a separate layer over everything... xD

Oh ye gods, I need coffee right now. I bet I'm actually sleeping while at the comp and only dreaming what I'm writing. In actuality, it's all just complete gibberish and keyboard mashing. I dunno. Here, have a character sketch.

I made this a while ago. You know, I draw sprites. I wish I could've come up with a design like that on my own, but nope, it's just a sprite rendition of an awesome sword from some /hack G.U. artwork. I could upload my whole collection here in a .zip if anyone wants to see.
