TDK, I think I can tell you how to make your lines better. You seem to be drawing them all at once right now. With how human hands work, this usually leads to lines becoming squiggled. Try sketching out your lines in short, light strokes. They'll come out more the shape you want them. If they look too sketchy, you can carefully erase the bits coming off either side. Then if you need them darker, you can always go over them.

Side note: For the record, I have heard art professors advocating NOT doing this more than saying that you should. (in fact, one would walk around making sure that you aren't). It doesn't necessarily make it BETTER, just less noticeable that you're lineart is off. But that's just what I've been taught(and I don't even necesarilly follow it all of the time), do whatever you think looks best.

Now onto short comments, for it is 7:30 am and I just got off of work, and I am sleepy.

Phil- Very nice. They made me laugh, especially the second one. I've never played/seen Eternal Darkness, but still funny.

Savage Thinking - Very nice, I really like his pinstriped shirt.

Celes - Smexy! Really like his hair.

Bluestarultor - Nice, I rather like the orbs around him.

Doc Ock - Nice, I like his attitude.

I drew some Avatar. It's not done yet. Don't look at Toph, she looks stupid. She'll look way different when I finish linearting her. Also my lineart gets thinner as I go down the page. Crap!

I do use a series of smaller lines as opposed to one long line. And I said nothing about being dissatisfied with my hands or lines.

I meant your actual hands. The ones you draw with. I just kept noticing things like your spear shafts and stuff coming out a bit squiggly, and thought suggesting that way of sketching might help you keep them straighter is all. No offense.

Frankly, you draw hands pretty well. That's something I have trouble with.

Doc Ock: That's really good! http://www.nuklearforums.com/images/icons/icon13.gif

Kinda have a Zidane haircut there, don't I? I been gangsta'd! XD

CelesJessa,

I really wish I could hire you write now to draw every picture I've ever wanted to draw.
That's really all I have to say.

Here is my two cents on art styles...
The "Inkers" version is the one where they try to do one continues line. Its MUCH cleaner. i call it the inkers version because they can skip the pencil sketches completely if they are good enough.

The "Sketch" version is the one where you do mainly smaller lines in order to make your beginning or "skeletal" sketches as light as possible this is one i suggest you do in till you learn the inker version/get better or you can stick with it if you like the look...
personally i use both styles as evenly as I can. i use the "inker" to darken sketchy lines that i want to keep or ink...

there is also Movement and Picture styles (movement artest are the ones where you look at the drawling and can tell how they are moving/ the people are in realistic poses that you can see in real life alot. while Picture ones look like the subject is still and unmoving even when they are trying to make them look like they are moving.) Picture guys can even be in cartoons as a movement guy can be in realistic
Example of Picture a picture artiest (at least to me) is CelesJessa and i think I'm a Movement guy
