Magnus smiled at Richard.

"Thanks, bro. I owe you one. Jo, I need you to stay by Richard, just in case you need to run for it. Jay, Will, if you here them yelling, help them in. I'll be fine. Trust me."

Magnus drew his Killer 7 and sprinted for the edge of the woods, not expecting to find what he did when he got there. Four of the islanders from before were lying upon the ground, obviously no longer among the living, and a hulking, almost humanoid creature was standing nearby. It stood a good 14 feet tall, and he smiled, thinking the creature HAD to be a Gigante.

"Yo, shithead, I have a feeling you were looking for me?"

The creature spun to face him, but as soon as he stopped, Magnus shot him directly in the eye. The monstrosity bellowed in pain, and doubled over.

Suddenly, a leech-like creature burst from his back, writhing in pain, easily as tall as any of the nearby trees.

I don't believe this.... No way in....

"Jo, get Richard down and get in that hatch. NOW!"

Jo stared at the thing from a distance. She was in a state of shock and froze up. Then she got a hold of herself and did what Magnus told her. She jumped and slid into the hatch. "Richard, come ON! Magnus! Get your ass down here! You are NOT fighting that thing!"

NOTE: Mag...I'm going to make this more difficult then you could imagine. If you beat the game and I'm sure you did, you should remember the two you face in that room and you drop one into lava. Those took more then just one K7 shot to get the plaga out of its back.

With the others still waiting on Magnus and Richard, the hatch started to close. The leech thing went back into gigantes back. The gigante then grabbed Magnus and started to squeeze.

Off in the distance a low breathing noise could be heard.

As the hatch closed slowly a few ganados (islanders...i got bored of calling them islanders) appeared behind gigante. The appearence was short thanks to them being picked off by the sniper,"I don't think so. Not before I have my fun with them", the sniper then grinned and continued watching the fight between the monstrosity and the two what seemed to be tiny men.

NOTE: Once the hatch closes...the chapter ends. I'm doing my best storytelling here people. If someone could, could someone continue with Myst's character? He won't be on for a month and I don't wanna kill it off.

OOC - Fine, so be it. They took 2 shots to the face, lol. Besdes, one shot to the face forces him to drop his prey. I used Ashley as bait last time.

Magnus was scooped up by a pair of hands, each the size of his body and felt them begin to squeeze.

"Oh, hell no..."

Magnus aimed directly at the hulking creatures eyes, and fired two quick shots, barely aiming with the pressure being applied to his ribs. One hit it in the mouth, throwing fragments of tooth and bone all over the place. The second shot made it's way into the creature's right eye, and it dropped him as it's large hands moved up to cover his throbbing eyes.

Magnus fell and rolled, his chest bruised from the pressure that had been applied in those few seconds.

A few more seconds and I would have been far beyond dead, Jesus Christ....

He ran, holstering his Killer 7 and rolling forward, almost based on instinct, and barely missed a sniper bullet that would have gone clean through his leg.
He sprinted a mad dash to the hatch, where Jo and Richard were waiting. He rolled through the hatch, holding his chest and removing a large, sharp piece of Gigante's tooth.

"Here's your proof of courage, hold it."

He put his right hand out, knowing the sniper was watching, and flipped him off, quickly closing the hatch and hearing three pings of a Sniper Rifle on the hatch door.

Ven had snuck away from the group a long time ago, right after he got his pistols back. That sniper must have down something to piss him off, becuase the second the sniper realized he was being watched, he was being pounded by insane amount of bullets. The sniper must have some skill, because Ven realized he was returning fire. He got a shot scrapping him across the side. The next shot would've killed him if he didn't manage to get some cover. Ven checked the wound, and luckily it didn't draw blood, just left a really bad burn mark. "Who the hell are you sniper!?" Ven shouted at him from under his cover. No response. "I said, Who the hell are you!?" Still no response. God, this isn't going to work. Ven looked down towards the position of everyone else and realized that they were all gone. Maybe trying to take him out wasn't such a great idea.

EDIT: RMB didn't want the sniper to die, so I have editted the post to where he doesn't.

Through all of this Jo was yelling at him. When he was picked up she screamed, and was still yelling at him when he ran back to the hatch. When the door closed, she was glaring at him.

He finally turned to her and she smacked him across the face. "You IDIOT! Why didn't you run when you had the chance! That thing nearly crushed you! Why do you always have to play the hero?! You could have been killed!" She glared at him some more, then walked off to get Matthew.

OOC: sure, I'll be Myst's chara while he's gone. just gonna wait for magnus and richards reactions.

Magnus' eyes narrowed, staring directly at Jo.

"Do you have no idea what I was doing? Look around you, and tell me a very simple something..... Who isn't here? Do you know? I see Richard, I see Jay, Will and you, obviously I'm here, and our merchant buddy there, but where's Ven? Hmm? Have you seen him? Well, I did. He was tracking the sniper who was firing at us, which reminds me of another thing. I think I know that sniper, but he would be dead, and if that's the case, then I don't think Ven could put him down anyway. So now, the hatch has been shot shut, Ven is stuck outside, and I have a horrible feeling nothing is going to get any better, so just CALM DOWN AND KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF!"

As he finished yelling, an intercom snapped on and a very familiar voice came through.....

"Now Magnus, try to keep your calm. It might just save you.... hehehe.... Don't worry, I sent some of my ganados to help him along. By the way, the score's still not even, Mag, and I believe I owe you a few for those days, although I can't promise anything. Anyhow, I'm sure we'll see each other soon...."

Magnus let the fury take over for just a second and smashed the side of the passage....

Dyne, if you hurt him.....

Ven had never ran so hard in his life. Now the only problem is trying to get together with the rest of the group. "Ok Ven, obviously that hatch has to lead somewhere, but where." He had long since left the vincinity of the hatch, so he couldn't follow it there. "Damnit, I wish I had something that could at least signal me in the right direction. I mean, sent to an island and we don't even have a..." He suddenly remembered something. He could have sworn they had given a satillite survellance photos of the island. It wouldn't tell him where the hatch went, but it would give him one hell of an idea where to head. "Now if only I got the damn thing." He says as he searches around all his pockets, checking to see if he had the map or not.

OOC: Since I have no idea if you want me to have a map or not, I'll let the GM decide if I have the map or not.

Will sighed heavily.

Screaming isn't going to get us anywhere. He thought to himself. He thought twice about saying out loud, however. That would probably just get the Magnus and Jo more angry, which was not what they needed.

"Ven's smart. He'll be alright. He was doing a better job at staying in one piece than the rest of us were when we saw him last. He'll hook back up with us sooner or later." Will said.

"Besides, it won't do us any good to sit here and stare at each other. We need to get moving."

As Jo started to run Richard jumped down to the ground and after getting up he started running towards the hatch.
While inside he listened to the others conversation. "Who is Dyne?" He asked Magnus.

The Hatch snapped shut leaving Ven outside with Gigante.

A scientist stood over a computer console and looked back over to a man in a grey business suit. "Should we let "it" go sir?" The scientist said eager to push the button on the computer console. "I think they've had enough fun, go ahead let "it" out." "Yes sir!" The scientist pushed a small button on the console, then a loud siren sounded.

Three guards entered the lab with the scientist. The man in the business suit stood behind bulletproof glass and laughed,"You will be the first to feel the mighty power of...Apotheosis." The siren continued as the three men ran towards the door. A beep sounded and the door instantly locked leaving the men inside.

A glass hatch opened and a monster stepped out. A tall moster stood 7' 8", platinum colored skin, long curved claws on one hand and a sword like arm. The guards fired at the beast only to have the bullets veer off. The guards and the scientist were instantly slaughtered by the immense strength of the beast. Looking at the blood soaked room the man in the business suit laughed. The creature looked ath the man through the glass with eyes glowing.

Back by the hatch the alert siren sounded and the hatch locked itslelf shut.

NOTE: You guys won't face "it" for a LONG time. I have to disregard Ven's killing the sniper because he has some importance towards the middle/end of the story.
