Anyone here still play FFXI?
 

Just curious. I know there were a few a while back who were playing to some extent, so I was wondering if anyone at this board is still into it.

I've been playing since PS2 launch (Though I mostly play on PC nowadays). I originally was on the Shiva server, but when they expanded for the EU launch I opted to emigrate, and landed on Remora. Thus far, I've chosen Monk as my main job (Currently at Lv. 45) and have levelled a few others as subs or just screwing around.

My subjob for XP'ing is Warrior, which is at 25 currently, and aside from that I have THF17, BRD9, WHM5, RNG5, and BST2. I think I've logged about 22 days playtime since PS2 launch.

Yes I am playing FFXI - haven't been playing for long though, only just managed to get hold of the game, but I am addicted.

I play a Tarutaru lv20 redmage / lv8 black mage at the moment on the Pandemonium server. By golly it's such good fun. That's the only thing I have at the moment - but I want to aspire to eventually be a Samurai / mage, that would be excellent :3

I'm looking to start, if I can find anyone to form a party with. I played for a little while a few months back, had a level 13 Warrior, but I want to start again. Wouldn't be able to start for a nother month and a half or so, and I'd be on sporadically, as well as being i a completely different time zone than anyone else on this forums (except for Chicago and QQ, who are only an hour or so removed)

so, if anyone is interested in helping me out in about 6 weeks, that would be cool! But I don't think it would be feasible...

especially since I'd be on a Japanese server probably. :(

Well, if you can get on the Remora server, I can certainly help you out. I've got plenty of lowbie jobs that I can level if you need someone to party with, more than likely I will be bringing Bard up a bit. I'm in the eastern timezone, but I'm usually awake from ~12-1PM 'til around 5AM, so my hours are pretty open, hahah.

Oh, and BTW, all of the servers are mixed NA/EU/JP, no country/region has dedicated servers.

Been playing since PS2 launch as well, 55 THF/NIN on Leviathan. I'm slightly surprised that others around here would dare admit they play the red headed stepchild of MMOs.

Awww - but I'm a sucker for anything remotly related to FF, and I am never ashamed to admit loving this game ^^

Though I really do like the format of the game and the fact that for once, your main character can be any race you choose, I must admit that I only rarely get on the servers to look around.

As up to this day, I am a level nine Bastok Warrior. I just started a few months ago, and I don't log in to the game very often. Anyway, I'm under the Asura server, Hume, and usually hang around near Bastok (still).

Nothing fancy, i know, but just give me some time. I do however, know a think or two I learnt from a few friends I made there at Bastok.

I'd like to eventually have my character be a ranger, the idea of just unloading into something with buchshot appeals to me, for some odd reason...

I'd probably start out this time with a thief and try to work my way towards Ranger/ninja.

I'll see what I can do in a few weeks. :)

yeah whould love to start the game myself to but first i need to get a job to afford the monthly fees oh well hopfully that will change soon :/
