"Hmm...I guess that makes sense. I mean, it would have been impossible to devote your attention to all three fields at once, Rydia." Palom struggled to his feet, replacing his sunglasses and hat, the lenses once more reflecting an eerie yellow in the dim light.

Tifa stood up and dusted herself off. "I'm standing right here, infront of you!" She waved her hand infront of his face and shook him a few times. "Can't you see me... Oh right Rydia... She cast a transparency spell which made me invisible while she and Palom go fight the Don."

OOC: Actually, it was Celes who cast the spell. Other than that, close enough.

Think I should start calling Tifa, Rydia, and Celes "Palom's Angels"? :p

Rydia agreed with Palom, then turned her gaze down to the end of the tunnel. Something was trodding through the water.

"What are those things?" Rydia said. They were short and stout, with tridents as long as they were tall and resembled turtles. "Is there no place in this massive city of metal outside of the towns that no monster can infest?" Rydia checked herself. No whip available. Her weapon was confiscated by the guys at Denario's mansion. Quickly scanning where they were, she picked up a rusty pipe, roughly three feet long, warped, and with weight that made Rydia feel comfortable. "Never a dull moment." She breathed, and readied herself to strike the incoming Sahagins.

OOC: Sahagins? Those sound a lot like the Sahuagins from Dungeons & Dragons, only those are tall, thin, and kindof sharky/froggy/humany.

By the way, this is only because Palom started without a weapon, and has failed to acquire one since.

IC: Palom got up, picking up what felt like another piece of pipe...until he got a good look at it. It was a slender, tapering staff, capped by sturdy metal latticeing that held a faintly glowing gem.

OOC: "Sahagins are common creatures in the sewers between Sector's 6 and 7. There are also...uhhh..."

"...Crab-like creatures called Ceasars."

IC: Rydia was running a little low on mental energy, and readied the rusty pipe. Conserving the mana until later could mean the difference between life and death. She slowly edged forth, dodged the incoming trident strike, and swung the pipe with all her might against one of the Sahagins' heads, knocking it flat on its back. If Cecil or Cloud were guiding the strike, the Sahagin would've been set flying...and wouldn't be struggling to get back up as it was now. Rydia backed away as the others behind it were catching up to their fallen brother. Switching the pipe to her left hand, Rydia summoned the force of lightning into her right hand. Veins of electricity jumped between the fingers on her clenched fist. "I guess there's no chance that I can play the nice girl."

"GO!" Tifa and Cloud charged at the door in full force.

OOC:

(OOC) Comady time!

The door busts off of it's hinges, and the trio fall through the still-open trap door and land on top of the Sahagins. Celes blinked at the heap of bodies and said "Um, Tifa, two things. One, you're visable now, and two.....um....you might want to get up before Palom starts to think....thoughts."

OOC: Um, FC? They were breaking open the door to the armory/storage, not the Don's room. And Cecil never helped in breaking it open, he is on his way to the Don's room right now.
IC: "Sure thing Cloud, just hurry there with the weapons." Cecil said to Cloud before running down the hall and cautiously walked into the Don's room, it was empty though he could see the opening to the 'bedroom' and stoped at the opening and peering in.
