IC: "Hey...I'm supposed to think thoughts!" Palom responded indignantly, "Thoughts are meant to be thunk by thinking thinkers!"

He stopped, considered his statement, then punched Celes in the shoulder, grinning.

"What? What thoughts?" Tifa was lying on her back ontop of the heap of people. Her boobs were really stiking up into the air and her tight white shirt didn't make it look any better. Her faced turned a bright red. "Crap! Palom don't look at me like that!"

"I'm not!" his face turned approximately the same color as hers, though it was easier to hide beneath the brim of his concealing hat.

"Besides, they weren't THOSE thoughts!"

"I'm fine, but Palom won't be in a few seconds." She grabbed Cloud's hand, pulling herself up. Tifa began stomping toward Palom.

"What...did...I...do?" Palom rubbed his temples, annoyed. Despite that, however, he was relieved to have recovered some of his energy. If either of them tried pushing him around, he would be ready.

"Celes was joking, and I responded. You just missed the first part, Tifa." sighing, he leaned once more against the wall, waiting for someone to do something.

OOC: Did Cecil still fall through the trap door? And did I get my sword back? I will edit or remove this on demand.
IC: Cecil took a weapon from the wall in the Don's room, it was a spear but had a swords blade instead of a sharp tip. "This will do until I get my real stuff back." He said to himself and tried it out by swinging it around and testing its weight. 'Perfect' He thought to himself and then walked cautiously into the Don's bedroom. The man that had activated the trapdoor was now tending to the Don's wounds and the Don himself was still uncontious. Cecil rushed into the room and hit the man with the side of the spear's edge making him fly into the wall. He walked up to the man and put the spear right next to the mans throat. "Tell me where the others are and I will let you live" Cecil said to the man.

(OOC) Not quite. Everyone's now down below.

Celes went up to the drain and opened up the grate. "I hope you two know where we can get a shower after this. I can tell you right now, it's NOT plesent in here." She said to Cloud and Tifa from inside. "At least there's rungs here we can use."

"Wait...let me go first. If something bad happens, better it get me than someone who still has some energy." he climbed up into the pipe she had entered, tucking his newfound staff into his belt, "besides...I don't want to see you get hurt."

"No offence Palom, but you're exhausted. You wouldn't be that helpful in a fight, and we might need you to help us when we come across....whoever it is we're susposed to fight." Celes said. Climbing up all the way, she called down "All clear!" And climbed out onto the alley near the Don's place.

"...As if I were useless, and weak." he snarled to himself, her words stinging far more than they would normally, "I can take care of myself..." he muttered, too quietly for the others to hear, climbing the ladder and energing onto the surface, his eyes carefully fixed on the ground.

I showed weakness, of course she thinks I'm weak...what if she's right? What if this was all a mistake? What does it MATTER? he sighed, beginning to walk right past her.

"I never said that." Celes said. "You were a big help today, and you're going to be needed in the future."

The Wizard found himself glad the others were still in the sewers, it somehow meant more coming from just her, then in the sappy encouragement of the entire group.

"Thanks, you too..." being called 'help' was a bit grating, but he understood it was a compliment. He lifted his hat brim, showing enough of his face to smile at her, "I hope we fight together again soon...Cel." his eyes caught the faint light.

Celes started to feel a few drops of rain. "Oh great." She said, looking up. Calling down to the others down below she said "Hurry up, it's starting to rain!"

(OOC) Might want to re-read my post there AB. We're just outside the Don's house.

Rydia frowned, slowly becoming more wet by the minute. "This is just perfect," she was complaining. "After all that work, dressing like some soldier in Toria and fighting off a giant monster, and I'm not one...one...what's the type of money that you use here? Anyways, I don't have any more of it than I did now."

"Lead the way." Celes said.

Feeling as though he had been rather casually rejected, Palom winced. His thick coat helped keep off the rain, but it wasn't that making him feel cold.

"Let's go." he looked at Cloud, "and hurry."

Tifa stretched her arms and yawned, "Whoo, after that I am so in the mood for a good sleep. Hey, good night." She followed after Cloud up the stairs and went into her room. She fell onto the bed and went out.
