How evil is SONY, I mean they are having the new ffVII movie come out first on the PSP and until three months later they MIGHT have it come out on DvD.

Wait, what?! This is the first I've heard of that. Do you have the source where you heard about it? If this is true, then Sony seriously dropped the ball. I'm not buying a PsP just to watch a damn movie.

Yah I got this info from a mag. My firends has it right now, and I cannot remeber what issue or the title of it is...

I wish there was some sort of definate. Advent children is playing heavily on whether I buy psp or ds. Can you confirm, or is it merely rumor?

I'm going to say.... no.

Considering Sony isn't really the one that is developing it, they have no say. Plus, they'd have to be extremely stupid, as it would cut down sales tremendously.

To add onto that, I haven't seen news of this anywhere else. This would be front page news on any Final Fantasy fansite, as well as many other places.

:bmage: ok they are coming out with it on dvd and the game for psp as well as a game dedicated to vincet only and maybe some more we will have to say. :bmage:

This is either very good marketing or mere sadism....

Only SquareEnix has the power to tell where it is going first no one else does. Another thing I heard is it may "MAY" come to U.S. theatures.

On talking to a Square-Enix official, they were advised that "production is as good as complete" but that "release details cannot yet be confirmed". Anyway, that is some bullshit! They're starting to make me lose faith in the gaming industry!! More and more companies are going into that "Let's make them have to buy two-hundred dollars worth of equipment to play one game!" marketing strategy. Nintendo is really heavy on it. They're beginning to piss me off.
