The year is 2090, mankind has reached the stars using technology found in alien ruins hidden in an asteroid. Using these "Jumpgates" or "Gates" for short, humans began to explore the galaxy. Eventually, raiders began to appear and raid convoys headed to the colonies. The Earth Space Forces was created to provide order and to protect it's populace. This is the story of fighter pilots in training, the future defenders of Earth space.


I would like about 3 cadets to begin this. Later we may increase that number, but not at this time. And it's first-come, first served.

Name: Inyri Sarni
Callsign: "Coldfire"
age: 20
Apperence: 5'6, 120 lbs, short blue hair, light blue eyes, light build
Bio: Not much is known about Inyri. She tends to be rather quiet outside of battle, and is a bit of a loner. To those that don't really know her, she seems cold and uncaring about having friends. However, eventually they see the more human side of her once they get to understand her. (In other words, a more emotional side) Some people say that she has a bit of a split personality when she's in the cockpit, as she starts acting a bit diffrent, being a little more aggressive.

History: Very little is known about her before age 10, when she was rescued from a damaged ship. Found with her were two people assumed to be her parents. Because of the accident, her left eye is basically dead and the left side of her face is marred by a single large scar. She wears an eyepatch over the eye mostly because she felt that if she left it open, it might raise some attention to her, which she doesn't want. Despite this, she is an excellent pilot who doesn't hold anything back in battle.

Name: Keed Albec
Callsign: Speed Demon
age: 19
Apperence: 5'10, 170lbs, he has dark hair and is a medium build. His eye are unusual and contain many colors, simular to a cats.
Bio: Keed is a bizaar pilot. He is both methodical and spontanious. His stratigies and tactics require alot of thought, however then are executed with blinding speed. He is what they call a twitch pilot.

history: Born on Earth little is known about him for the first 15 years of his life. He was nothing special. A loner that really liked games and machines. That is until he was 16 and entered a gaming simulator tournament. His reflexes were unbelieveable. He was able to quickly and accurately target every ship. He was considered a prodigy pilot and was quickly recruited. Though he has become a very solitary person. Whether its arogance or loneliness, no one knows.

Name: Joel Eskari
Callsign: "Technician"
Age: 22
Appearance: Aproximately 185cm long and weighs about 80 to 90 kilos. Rather average by size. Has very dark hair and brown eyes.
Bio: When in training or missions of any kind he keep his mind on the task and does not apreciate any useless chit chat at that time. Keeps pretty cool even in more tense situations. At his "free time" he is much more relaxed and doesen't always play it by the rules so much. Likes to have as many friends as possible and is a social person. Still from time to time he likes to spends some time just by himself, mostly so he can think. Also when there is nothing too special to do he reads books of many kind.

History: Was born back on earth and lived there until he was 18, then moved out of his parents place and went to a space academy to study to be a mechanic. Doesen't like to discuss his life back on earth that much. After finishing his studies at the age of 21 he lived alone for a while working in a space station as a satellite meintenance mechanic. Soon after that he aplied to be a fighter pilot and he got accepted.

Call sighn: Dare devil
Age: 21
Appearance: 5'11'' 134 lbs. Very short brown hair, brown eyes, medium build.
Bio: Toran is the pilot that attempts all the stunning feets. He is the one that baits the trap or draws fire. Toran reflexes are superb and his flying is hard to hit.
History: Toran was born to a military familiy in orbit of earth. Growing up Toran loved to fly but since his parents and all of his friends expected to go into the military he had to enter into the academny instead of flying his own ship.

Pyros, um....how can I put this.....that doesn't really sound like much of a character. actually sounds kinda quasi-godmodesque in my opinion.

In what way. I never said what he does works 100% of the time and he never gets hit. I just meant he does the crazy things no one else wants to do.

Name: FS-3 Spade
Type: Multirole starfighter
Weapons: 4 laser cannons, 2 missile launchers, 3 external hardpoints for extra fuel, missile/rocket launchers.
Shields: Average
Hull: Average-low
Speed: Average
Manuverablility: Average-high

The mainstay fighter of the ESF, The FS-3 has served well for 15 years, and can be adapted for many diffrent roles.

Name: FS-4 Trine
Type: Intercepter
Weapons: 2 laser cannons, 1 missile launcher
Shields: Average-low
Hull: Low
Speed: High
Manuverability: Average

The primary intercepter for the ESF, the FS-4 is a lightweight fighter that relies on speed and manuverability to survive.

Name: FS-5 Blade
Type: Space Superority Fighter
Weapons: 4 laser cannons, 2 missile launchers
Shields: Average
Hull: Average-high
Speed: High
Manuverability: High

The FS-5 is the replacement for the FS-3, and it is one of two fighters that are capable of surviving planetary re-entry.

Name: AS-2 Sabre
Type: Attack Fighter
Weapons: 6 laser cannons, 2 missile launchers, 6 external hardpoints for addional fuel, weapons
Shields: High
Hull: High
Speed: Low
Manuverability: Low-average

The AS-2 serves as the ESF heavy attack fighter, capable of bring a great amount of firepower on a single target, capable of planetary re-entry.
