Tarum stood up slowly dusting himself off slowly then cackled at the were eagle. Tarum said "Your right I am a scavenger. Didn't you know that's what hyena's do? Besides what does pride get you. Does it give you food or drink, does it give you fame or fortune, I think not. Besides I just thought it would have been funny to startle you, and it was" Tarum let out a sharp cackle.

Tantalum's eyes twinkle with hidden amusement. As an animal, her human consciousness is halved, joining in with the primal instincts of the animal. Still, she could see that Aquila was embarrassed in being such a messy eater. She gave a reassuring hoot and stretched out her wings. The sun beat down on them, and she felt herself warming up.
Warm and hunger sated, she chirruped towards Aquila, likewise sunning himself while trying to get the darned bloodstains off his face. Her head bobbed, and she gave a few flaps of her wings, before shuffling crab-wise towards Aquila. With subtle gentleness, she began grooming the bloodied feathers on Aquila's face, removing the sticky substance with apparent ease.

{So it was two of the werebeasts all along. I'd better help them replace that stolen food. Though, it was their own fault, deciding to eat it on the ground instead of in a tree.}
Sending the doll flying, it hovered a good distance between itself and the werebirds, fearing a bad reaction to the thing. <Hey, this is Pende. I saw what happened. You wouldn't have gotton the meat back talking about pride. It really is worthless. You see an oppertonity, you take it, it is a dark elf thing, I would know. Anyways, I got some chicken I'd be willing to share if you follow this thing.>

Aquila gives a quizzical look at the flying doll. "Let me guess your the guy that I thought was a zombie. I recognize the doll. Thank you but I think we have had our fill anyways." He looks over at Tarum "enjoy the leavings." With that he moves over to Tantalum and puts his wing around her and pulls her close to him as if to protect her from even their sight. He whispers very quietly in her ear "lets go find somewhere quiet to sun ourselves Tanta. And maybe get some more of this blood off of my head."

Aiera smiled, "Raw, please, if it's not too much trouble." she added turning to the chef. He gave them an odd look before he nodded and produced two plates of raw fish. she took hers and Hale took his. "Shall we find a place to sit?" she led the way to a table and they both sat. She glanced up at him, taking a piece of her fish. "So, where's your hometown? Is it anything like this?"

Hale looked a little ashamed first, then he began to explain about his 'hometown'. "I come from a place near yurijan, a large tower that my father built with his magics, I spent most of my life there. Its incredibly well defended and we always had whatever we desired thanks to his abilities. But what we always really wanted was to meet people thats why Quill and I spent alot of our time sneaking out in yurijan learning whatever we could. And talking to anyone who would listen." A slight smile graced his lips towards the end of his story. "But as for whether or not it was anything like this place, thats a definate no. This place has to much nature and life here, my home was always cold and dark... but home is where you make it." Hale's eyes quickly dart around as he looks aiera up and down, "You look a little bored do you want to talk about something else?" Hale grabs his fish right off the plate and begins biting off as much as he can ripping the fish apart by pulling his head away from his still hand.

Karvan glared menacingly at Charles. He patted the chain across his chest. "Weapons perfect. Not touch." He said, trying to express that he didn't want his weapons to be modified. He then turned to Vex. " Get your weapons screwed up if you want, I'm hungry. To tell the truth, I'd rather try something edible that is local than hunt for it. I've flown all day and I'm not in the mood to go outside this place. Besides, this place is supposed to be the grand center of development, and I'm curious to see it. But if you really want to let this human mess with your equipment, fine by me." The dragonkin turned, walking down the road he had flown over less than an hour earlier.

After finishing a meal of grilled meat Rei Went to practice with his sword in a open area someplace inside the city. He drew his sword and started working himself through the many different patterns in his sword style. Spinning, jumping, kicking and other moves were part of it allmost as much as the swinging of the sword.

Tantalum cocked her head slightly and eyed the animated doll inquisitively. She gave a nod and acknowledged Aquila's request with a ruffle of her feathers. She spread her wings and took off, intent on reaching a nearby forest.

Aquila Follows Tanta off towards to forest flying in her wake. He watched her fly agian. "Odd that she didn't say anything to Tarum. Oh well, probably didn't care." Aquila survayed the land below and saw a stream. Following it with his eyes he saw a rocky area with a small pool of water relitivly deep into the forest.. He circled shortly twice examining there back trail to be sure no one was following them. Confident no one was he flew quickly back up to Tanta and Tried to tell her the spot he saw off in the distance. Suggesting as best he could that it might be a warm spot to spend out a full stomach.
