Insert "Hallelujah Chorus" here.

By the way, if anyone wants the Hallelujah Chorus, it's one of the 3,900 songs I'm sharing on kazaa (under the username "haha_you_cant_get_me_riaa@booya"). :D

The trade group will continue to file lawsuits against those it suspects of copyright violations but will not be able to warn them beforehand, an RIAA official said in a statement.

Er...this is better how?

The Devil Himself 12-19-2003 05:11 PM

This is laughable, yet alarming because the R I double A-holes are a god damned sadist, political lobby group desperate for cash and power!

Spiffy 12-19-2003 09:14 PM

it says they blame the internet for there crappy cd sales while this might be partially true maybe it is simply because there music is well, crap. I don't pirate music because there isn't anything worth looting. (Long rant on riaa jerks here) Spiffy Has Spoken.

Todays Bonus siggy is by: RIAA spokesmen
"Dammit this girl has If your happy clap your hands, thats ours! [b]Pay us $1000s or we'll eat your soul![b/]"
There will be no clapping in that house.

Now I garentee you this is whats going happen.

MUSIC COMPANY PLAN:
Step 1: Hide in bush
Step 2: Watch for stoopid teenager with headsets walk by.
Step 3: Pounce on him
Step 4: Steal his Burned CD
Step 5: Run laughing then sue him.

Optional Step 6: Regret it when the teen counter sues for assult and robbery and gets twice as much.

There are two reasons CD sales are down as I see it.

1. There's not a lot of good music out there. (On the other hand, I have pretty specific tastes.)

2. How come CD's cost so much?? I don't want to pay $30 (Canadian) for a CD, let alone a CD with only two songs worth listening to. It's ridiculus!

Patricoo 12-20-2003 05:09 PM

95% of the time people only want 5 or 6 good songs on the 12 song list. We can get it cheaper of other sites for like a buck a song for MP3's and other gadgets. Less is more.

you are all bastards, you know that? how are people like eminem supposed to afford gold-plating on their planes? Rather than being able to afford it right now, he has to wait another 6 hours before hhe has enough money. for shame.
on a serious note, yay! now i dont have to borrow my friends cds and rip the songs off them for my own listening pleasure. now i just need to have a kazaa username with z as its first letter so least likely to be randomly sued, and i can get whatever songs i desire. and i can finally get that girls gone wild ive been wanting.

I heard the RIAA is taking this to the Supreme Court as a last-ditch effort. I can't wait to hear the ruling on that.
