Bolt crackled, and kicked the door down.
Then he threw his hands up and unleashed a low level magnetic current, tossing all bullets AWAY from the group. |
ooc: Sorry for not responding, for some reason it nave came up on my user cp as being updated, didn't know you were waiting for me.
Rather than be anoyed by being replaced by a flashlight Dragon was actually relieved that they he didn't have to be a giant target in case they ran into an ambush. Dragon fidled with his light some as he waited for bolt to return from under the door, when he thought he heard the sounds of gunfire. "Anyone else hear that?" he asked, hoping it was just his nerves getting to him, when suddenly bolt knocked down the door. Throwing off his calm demeanor Dragon stood looking into where the door had been trying to spot an opponent close enough to spray with some fire, without venturing into the strange smoke in front of them. 'Wonder if thats stuff is flamable' Dragon thought to himself. |
After Geos' topaz body ripped through the door as if it tinfoil he stormed forward throwing a ruby punch through the automatic rifle of the gaurd firing on him. The resulting explosion shattered the mans ribcage, loudly. He screamed in pain Geos stood stalk still for a moment shocked at the sheer force of his strike. The guard fell backwards into the arms of a comrade who promptly began running backwards shouting orders.
"Retreat! Everyone out now, masks on everybody!" the smoke fills the room and the sounds of multiple men running away are all you can hear as they attempt to escape. All their final shots were stopped by the field bolt generated after kicking down what little remained of the door, saving most of your lives. And dragons attempt to ignite the smoke was not only fool hearty since the smoke was filling the area engulfing most of you but it was fruitless, but for a moment you could clearly see dragon through all of the smoke. Over the sounds of your hacking in the smoke all you can hear is the sounds of additional grenades being thrown in and their smoke releasing. And all of you know that if you guys stay here for too long you will pass out at the least. ooc: this smoke effects everyone melded, extra lungs or topaz. |
The air billowed with a thick purple smoke, as each breath drew more and more into geos’s lungs it burned with the intensity of white hot fire. He was unable to control his powers and shifted into human form. “We…*cough* we have to find a way *weez* out of this.” Geos stairs as hard as he can through the gas at where the soldiers were before they fled, maybe he could find something that would help.
|
Geos sees a single gas mas at about the spot where he hit the soldier sitting idly on the ground.
ooc: and it doesn't burn that bad that quickly think your chest is extremely tight. good description though. |
Meld hacked up some kind of gunk. That wasn't a good sign. Even when he was melded with the floor, it still affected him. Whatever the smoke was, it was made to hurt any organism, no matter where they were. He looked around, he was starting to get dizzy.
He checked the communicator again. Pressing several buttons, he finally produced a small fan. He turned it on, and placed it by his face, pushing some of the smoke away. It wasn't a permanent solution, but at least his mind was clear enough to think now. His best bet would probably be to meld towards the retreating soldiers and steal some of their gas masks. |
Geos scrambles and obtains the gas mask. He inhales the stagnant air produced by the gas mask. His lungs expanded and loosened. That mask wasn’t enough to help the whole group, but it was a start. Geos ran back to Dragon and handed him the gas mask “Take a breath and pass it on.” He indicated to the rest of the group to go back through the busted down security door. Geos staggered through the door taking a breath of the lesser contaminated air. He then proceeded to inspect the security inlet they had just passed before busting down the door.
|
Meld quickly following the group of soldiers saw yet another security door fall into place, phasing through that he could clearly see through the lack of smoke a secondary barricade forming in a metal hallway with much more heavy fire power, including some frost throwers, heavy machine guns, barricades to block any incoming attacks and several men are holding weapons with the same setup as a frost thrower but a much different canister entirely. After taking a quick breath of fresh air meld had no choice but return to the group.
Geos' search prevails it appears that this inlet was not only a rest stop for gaurds but storage as well. There are various commonly known firearms, from stun guns to assault rifles, a frost thrower, a case of explosives and a variety of body armors and enough one size fits all gas masks for the group and then some. |
ooc: He didn't actually try to ignite the air, he was just thinking to himself, since he didn't want to end up blowing a puff of only to have it explode in his face.
Dragon took a deep breath in the gas mask allowing his lungs to expand fully. [i]'the air in that thing may be stale, but at least it filters out whatever this gas is.' Dragon thought as he breathed in the stagnant filtered air. He passed the mask onto the person closest to him, not paying attention to who it was, but instead looking for anything that could help them, a ventalation system or anything else that could be used to purge the air. ooc: Just a question, can me extra set of lungs hold oxygen at times? It would disable my fire breath while I'm doing it, but allow me to hold my breath longer. |
Meld joined back with the group in their temporary armory.
"They've got a whole shit load of security up there. Whatever they're gaurding, they don't want anyone getting in. We're going to need weapons, armor, and gas masks." Meld practically dived into the large pile of weapons. When he came back out, he seemed ready for any kind of combat. He had a belt of explosives hanging from his waist. He had melded a frost thrower to his right hand, and a stun baton to his left. He had melded the gas mask to his face, so it wouldn't come off in a fight. And finally, he had melded with his uniform, so he was made entirely of iron. |
