"We could split up and go each direction, then meet back here in an hour or so." Khakoi shrugged, "Or we could just pick a direction and go for it. Did it say anything about directions in our breifing?"
Then she looked at Tama, "I'm not sure. He hasn't told me if he could talk to other swords or anything. I don't know if he would be able to sense or connect to your sword, since I assume it's not like regular swords." |
"And that, my friend, is where Shifter comes in. We simply have Shifter wrap itself around the sword, do a few tricks, and when the assassin takes the crap sword, Shifter runs back home to you."
Hiro grabbed his right arm. "I'm not risking Shifter. He might not come back... He's tried to run away once or twice..."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Drae'san drew Leo.
"Grandfathers help me." He whispered to the sword. He felt the sword tug toward the northwest. "My vote is to go northwest. |
Tama raised an eyebrow.
"Your weapon has tried to run away? That's not a good thing. And sadly, Shifter is the only weapon we could use. Unless... My sword can channel the elements. And I remember seeing a weapon back in the museum called the 'Raigaki'. Maybe, for a demonstration, we'll have someone swing this crappy sword around, and I'll use my sword to summon a lightning storm. We'll tell him that this sword can summon and control lighting." |
"I would follow the spirits, they have no reason to lie." Jude said walking back.
"I would say northwest," She said, agreeing with Drae'san. "I would agree with the spirit in his sword more than some assassin... assassins have a tendancy to lie and stab you in the back."
"I believe that is one of the definitions of an assassin, if my teachings were correct."
Out of Hiro's right arm, a small metal spike pointed southeast. "Yeah, definatly northwest now."
Drae'san resheathed his sword. "What say you?" he asked the others.
