Did someone use a pheonix down?

I've been thinking (yeah, thinking), how did the Dark warriors come about? Wasn't Garland mecilessly killed by Black Belt and Drizz'l killed by the Light Warriors? The only one who could be there would be Bikke, because he didn't die. But how did he get out of Pravoka?

Plot device, my friend.

Plot device.

They were never killed.

just based on memory here, I know drizz'l and garland weren't killed, just beaten up. This was shown in the old comics, I'm certain, but I don't feel like pulling them up. Anyway, Bikke can use a boat to get around.

I wonder how Garland's spleen's doing? I wonder if hospitals will operate on working-on-being-bad-guys? And Drizz'l must have some deep scar wounds from all those stabs.

Always Have A Backup Plan and a Continue

Episode 141 & 168. Garland RETURNS.. sorta. I'm too lazy to link to it at the moment.

Episode 286 for Drizz'l's triumphant return.

And as an afterthought to all this backtracking:

Did the Light Warriors actually receive Steve's guitar/lute, (since it was used as a joke) or will they have to go aaaaaaall the way back for it once they realize that you need it at the "very end of the game"? :p

And.. what does the party do with extra equipment? I guess a bag of holding since RM wouldn't throw away any "spare" equipment unless Thief conveniently was handling the party's entire inventory without them knowing it.

Does Akhbar's actually sell human spleens? And why are other obtrusively helpful White Mages nearly non-existant? And why DOES the Clinic charge money? (although in my strips, I borrow from the Simpsons and make it a Veterinarian Clinic)

Maybe I should stop asking questions and just enjoy the show. :D

Well, Garland's had quite a few centuries to recover from that spleen injury, what with having been sent back in time by Dr. Sworopolis and all...

*Sigh*

Don't mind Drooling Iguana people, apparently he's still deluded himself that his theory that Dr. Swordopolis sends Garland back in time, is valid and correct. Garland was rescued by the Land Sharks, and A: Did not drown, B: Did not get affected by Dr. Swordopolis.

Whether Brian really even touches the time travel aspect in his comic is up for debate, as he's not entirely following the FF storyline precisely. (Sky Warriors still MIA, & they've got a completely different Airship). Personally, I think if Garland goes back in time, Brian will hold off doing so until just before Chaos shows up, and consequently bring the comic to an end.

Garland is still alive because his armor took most of the damage, and he's a comic character immune to death. Drizz'l is still alive based on Monty Python's "he got better" syndrome. Phoenix Down will eventually get used (if a chat session on IRC w/ Brian, is in any way valid), but hasn't seen use yet.

I think a person can live without his spleen, so I doubt Garland has to worry about that too much, and Drizz'l was found by Bilkke and Garland, and treated, so they're going to be ok. The only non-monster character killed thus far is Astos, I beleve.
