FF's Never Ending Repeats
 

I kinda noticed that Biggs, Wedge, and Cid were in every FF game. And I found out the reason for Biggs and Wedge (Star Wars) but I was wondering about onion knight and Cait Sith, Onion knight was in one of the other FF games(I just can't seem to rember) But how come Cait Sith only came out in FF7,10. Anyone know the story behind Cait Sith? Oh and how come more places are using Cait Sith such as Culdecept which to some degree actually looked like the FF 10 doll.

People are obsessive about FF7. Square likes money. Plugging FF7 makes money. Therefore, Square plugs Cait Sith.

Cait Sith is Gaelic for "King of Cats."

Other repeats: Highwind was in IV and VII... related to dragoons both times...

i dont beleive i saw bigs nor wedge in final fantasy: mystic quest on the snes...but im also not sure if that counts towards the final fantasy series. it was made by squaresoft...but i just dont remember seeing bigs or wedge in there anywhere. if anyone knows plz tell me where.

Pupu [FFVIII] was also a Final Fantasy X doll. Onion Knight (More commonly known as Onion kid) was the default job class in FFIII.

Cid's appearances:

FF1: Created the Airship, but is really only mentioned once.
FF2: Created the Airship, charges for use.
FF3: Created the Airship.
FF4: Created the Airships, and is now playable.
FF5: Didn't create the Airship, but he did fix it, and upgrade it.
FF6: A Cid who has nothing to do with Airships?! Blasphemy.
FF7: Cid fuses with Kain Highwind to create a new level of badass Airship maker.

Not sure about FF8-FF10, or X-2, but I'm assuming he's in FF8-10. SO he's been in just about all of them.

FF8: Cid is the headmaster of The Garden, and has nothing to do with airships.
FFX: Cid is Yuna's uncle, and flies the airship for you.

Cait Sith is one of the wepons that Lulu uses in FFX, but beyond that I don't think it made it out of FF7, and there is a reason for that - was anyone asking for more Cait Sith?

Besides it was a useable character, I don't think Square repeats useable characters excluding the FFX sequal.

There was Cid and an Airship on Final Fantasy Unlimited, I guess something of a formula is always required, like every protaganist needs a nemesis which has to be reasonably cool - they really failed that on FFX.

And Cid is the headmaster of a Garden which is an Airship, a Garden which he more or less created.

Well, my version's translated slightly, but in FF6, the "Stray" Esper is called "Cait Sith"

I'm pretty sure that's not true.

He didn't appear until FFIIj.
