Guilty Gear RP (Interest Thread)
 

I just joined the Inu Yasha RP and it gave me the idea to create a Guilty Gear RP. I'm just seeing if anyone would be interested in joining an RP like this. My basic idea is this:

The setting is around the time of Guilty Gear XX. Everyone creates their own character (rememeber, no using characters from the game). You can choose from the different types of magic seen in the game or you can come up with your own varient of magic. The only condition on creating your own magic is that you have to run it by me first. You also choose between the different races that are seen in the game.

Human
Gear
Half-Gear
Nightwalker
Ghost
Dwarf

Since the goals of the characters are usually different each player will need to state their main goal as well (ex. Wants to kill Dizzy and prevent the Gears from taking over.)

I'd definately do it! And I promise I won't be Eddie (Although my avatar suggests otherwise...). I actually made a couple of characters like this for it already so...

Also: Does it have to be just those races, or can we still have others? For example: Slayer is the only Nightwalker (Or vampire) In the Guilty Gear series who is playable. Just like how Zappa is the only character who fights by being possesed by a touchy feely ghost chick, and how the other guy is the only dwarf. (I never unlocked him, shut it.)

Ryu Kurai- Yes, being possessed by a ghost or demon is perfectly fine. If you read the link in my first post there are many different options that you can use for your character and the 6 Forbidden Magics (magic that fused Eddie to Zato) is one of them.

Update: I still would like more feedback before I set anything in stone but I've come up with the Character Rubric:

You can use any race, magic type, weapon etc. to create your character. The only exceptions are no Chronomancy for magic type and no all powerful characters. If there ar any characters like that then I will include them in the story myself as NPCs. Nothing's set in stone yet so keep giving me your feedback.

Gah, see now I am in a jam... I actually want to be a werewolf lady (can change into the man/wolf form at will) Now, would that best suit a Human / Half-Gear or Gear? I'd rather go with Half-Gear, but at the same time.... I don't want to be seen as being cheesey ^^;

Also question! How is it you want to run the game? Is it going to be story based (which I hope) or is it going to be random fighting only - or a mix? (which I hope even more so).

Hmm...I don't see why you can't be a werewolf lady (magic runs rampant in the uilty Gear world) but there arent any werewolves playable in the game. But, just for the hell, I'm goin to allow it because it could add an interesting dynamic to the story. Just make sure you have a good Bio to back it up.

And to answer your question, it's going to be a mix. The story will progress with the help of the players and if they want they can engage in one-on-one fights. Also, I'm toying with the idea of introducing boss NPCs and having the players fight.

Excellent - I was asking, because of the supernatural characters in the game. Maybe a Nightwalker would suit me better or is that just restricted to vampiric creatures?

I would personally prefer you be a nightwalker because they're already officially established as a race. Still, ABA is a new type of character and she fits in just fine
