A girl in your class types in "Salami" in the image search and gets several pictures of, well, you know.......................

It's not google's fault. Google searches their internet database for every site/picture containg the word 'Salami'. Yes its insane what people name their sites but you can't blame google.

And thats what safe-search is for anyway.

It was a while back, and google has gotten better as of late. Safe-search is a lot better now.

You think maybe we could stop these "You know X is retarded" threads now? I find calling things "retarded" juvenile and slightly offensive. If you have to make them, say stupid or something.

I kinda agree since my sister is disabled. But then, I too am guilty of saying "such and such is retarded". So I bathe in hypocrisy.

Well, Google isn't THAT retarded. Sometimes it shows you interesting stuff in the process of getting you what you need.

I typed in pussycat and got... well... you know *coughcoughpornandfurrycoughcouch*. that's what i get for turning off safe search....

why would anyone ever use safesearch.....?
