That was enough to lure me while browsing through the anime section at my local HMV! Reading the back of the case, however, I found that this show was indeed...about panties. A weird, yet common, Japanese fetish and I here I was squealing like a Japanese schoolgirl over watching the comical shorts.

I was reduced to a complete fit of giggles. So I purchased it. Much to my joy, the show, again, is indeed...about panties.

There's not really much here for a hardcore fan of anime with purpose. A lot of anime panty shots and various scenarios. It's a humerous collection of shorts about different groups of males and their reactions to viewing...panties.

Has anyone else, apart from Shiney, viewed this DVD for themselves? If not, why the hell not? It has PANTIES, for crying out loud.

I haven't gotten the DVD, but I have seen some episodes on Comcast with On Demand. But, yeah it is rather funny, even if I don't relate to the fetish as much. I haven't seen all the episodes, but I think the Coach is my favorite charactor.

Then send it to me, damn it!

Anime + Panties = at least an hour of fun, maybe even more.

Seriously though, that's something an total anime-freak should watch when he/she is high. You'd never recover.

I've seen the entire series on DVD. ^_^ My friend called me and told me to drive over about a year ago because he bought a new anime that he wanted to show me. I got there and he put in the first disc...I was reduced to a writhing mass of laughs on the floor.

We watched the first two disks that night (can't remember how many episodes that was, or how many disks there were total) then I went home and couldn't sleep because of the images I had just been exposed to. I loved the show because of the jokes (there is one joke where throughout the series you see men smashing their heads into a lightpole because they see a woman's panties as she sits down and they rush towards her, then later a news reporter refers to the act as "getting head"), but if you're looking for h-anime go somewhere else. The animation's pretty poor, but I didn't really care because I wasn't looking to wank off.

It's a great series to rent if you're looking for general insanity (although I'd suggest Excel Saga), but don't buy it outright.

[Edit] And yes, the tagline grabbed me as well.

As Bob said, it's nothing explicit, so if you're looking for hentai material, or more gags - look elsewhere. But it's worth downloading possibly if you can find it. As a group watch, it's hilarious.

The cat scene is my favourite when the guy screams "PUSSY!" My friends and I couldn't contain ourselves from the laughter. Makes me giggle just thinking about it.

I've seen the show on my cable provider's on demand anime channel. It's pretty funny, but they only show the dub ;_;

Thankfully, the DVD comes with a whole bunch of extras. The cast for the dub are hilarious. Especially the guy who has to shout 'PUSSY!' as I mentioned above. Only line in the whole thing and he's the right choice. Bingo.

If this was hentai material, I would say that you are all sick. However, since the general concensus is that it's not, I must now begin searching for this series, because it sounds funny. :cool:

I have to ask. Did the box really say this, or did you just make it up? I ask only because that's dang funny and, well, I just have to know for my insanity's sake. ;)
