Dawn had gotten up as the fighting ensued, helping Cesia get back up onto her feet. "I say that we just try to get out of here without getting killed and continue on our way to the castle. The sooner the better."

As soon as Gin had made mention that the king and most of his advisors were killed, a sinking feeling had set in her stomach, worrying greatly about her own teacher, who had just happened to be a close friend of the king. Surely she wasn't killed as well... at least that's what she was hoping.

She quickly cut her eyes to Lynx. "Will you stop that! He's just trying to help... there's no sense in trying to talk to these people when they obviously are thick-skulled and think WE'RE the bad guys"

"I would talk, we've killed like eight thought-to-be invincible monsters, so a couple of lackies is really nothing to us." Jude said, relaxing his posture and taking a seat again.

"They've stopped attacking Dawn, I think they get it." Lynx's staff was crackling with electricy, just incase the drunk tried something again.

An arrow whistles by Lynx's head. A voice near the back of the Knight's group asks, "Did i get the loud mouthed one?"

"whaddya know, new guy was right, there are catacombs under here...although he doesn't look too likely to move anytime soon...at least until he gets that big slab of floor off of him..." Jude said, peering over the knocked out and groaning knights to see the newly created hole.

Gin jumped from the hole and struck lynx in the chest with the blade of the naginata. "I warned you idiot." He pulled out the blade and spun the naginata jamming the blunt end into lynx' face breaking his jaw.

OOC: Celes had the knight stop, I think she wants to pursue this... Jad, stop being a baby since your Great Cid might actually get underminded.

[OOC] we'll have to start a new chapter soon, so methinks i'll blow open a hole in the wall then.

Edit - He stopped for a second. That's hardly a cease fire.[OOC]

OOC: Stopped, then his talking was him questioning his job. And you have to assume that that one guy was not the only person there who is capable of thinking.

OOC: Did Gin just kill Lynx? Sticking a blade in the chest, AND breaking the jaw...even the people who don't like Lynx won't want him in the group now...
