OOC: And all of those places failed or are failing, so(If that's the case) your guy just took over a place that is bound to fail, history even says so.
ooc: spain became a world power in the rennaisance.
OOC: And then lost it. And USSR failed, then Russia failed, North Korea is doing bad, middle east is kinda the same, and failed, China is doing ok... And Germany got out of the shithole position before they became strong.(Well, not for Jewish people...) But got shot down anyway
ooc: I never said you guys were going to lose, but attacking Cid head on without support is idiotic. I thought lynx was supposed to be the smart one. No small group can succeed in a head on attack of a larger opponent. read "charge of the light brigade" again. To win your going to need to be just as sneaky as Cid. Your going to actually start and lead the rebellion from a position of strength. Not riding into the vipers nest. I want the good guys to win, but I'm not going to roll over on my principles to allow it.
OOC: Please tell me that the build the rebellion part is just Jad talking and not the actual plan for the RP...
OOC: This isn't a head on attack... His plan is to get to the castle, and does what he needs to get atleast 5 minutes to prove that this princess is the real one, which would make Cid's kingness invalid, and he would be executed. And you see, unlike you, I have not got to pick most of what is going on because I talked to Celes on MSN before the RP started, I'm just trying to work with what is going on at the moment. This RP is most likely ending with us somehow killing Cid in the castle in the next couple of chapters. Also, it's kind of easy to be sneaky when everything before the final plan doesn't have to be mentioned.
Holy crap! I leave for an hour and you guys are not only still at it.
*_*" |
ooc: again, how do you plan to get into the stronghold of your enemy unnoticed. Cid's not going to suffer you to live long, and he'd give you a farce of a trial. Not exactly an uncommon thing. Look at the trial of William Wallace. There was no trial really just a guilty verdict and then he was drawn and quartered.
OOC: And if he tries that, Lynx will make a big deal from it, and that will spark possibilities of rebellion(Since the people who raised the princess will believe Cesia is her, then they will spark rebellion) Chain reaction. And he was planning on being escorted by those knight/gaurds that were there to get the bounty(Which was dead or alive), then lay claim that Cesia is the princess, her perfect resemblance will probably be enough to convince some people(Mentioned before) and Cid's just killer her would lead to an untimely demise. And the fact that no on here wants to just run away from the big bad Cid and do crap until we have a super army like Cid got so simply.
ooc: Cid had those who would rebel killed. You also seem to think anybody outside the castle knows what the princess looks like. It's not like there is a media plastering pictures all over the place. You are also over estimating your persuasion skills. A lot of people are going to think your either a crack pot or a spy. Your not some persuasive leader. Your an annoying, abbrasive cat boy. Michael Moore is more persuasive than you.
