A knife, a small knife. Thought Thid as he looked through the stable. Ah ha! There one is!
Thid then takes the small pen knife over to his horse and saddle bag. He then removes three arrows from his quiver and takes a roll of copper wire from his bag. Well, i have all the parts. I'm damn glad that i remembered this anti magic trick. Thid then commenced to carve odd patterns into the arrows and wrap the copper wire into them. "Well," Thid said to himself, "I would have preferred thicker arrows, but this should do it..now all i have to worry about are all those guards." As Thid was putting his tools away and readying all to horses for a fast getaway, something pricked him inside of his coat. Upon investigation he found out that it was Cesia's knifes. Ah crap! I forgot to give her back her knifes after her fall! |
Ark's sword shinked lightly as he drew it out for one inch.
He glanced at the crowds who looked quite angry. "Well, anyways. We really don't have any money. At least, none we have access to. Our bounties might be worth something? Yah. We could use any help we can get, so would you please be willing to help us?" |
"'The black hand'?" Cesia repeated, "Didn't Skurai mention something about that at his castle?" She wondered out loud, then she turned to Gin, "Well, as Lynx and Arc said, we don't have much money. Any help would be greatly appreciated though..." She looked around, "So what would be the best way out of here? We look like we're surrounded, the upstairs windows might be a possability...." She suggested.

I'd say try to get into the catacombs from the wine cellar.
|
"The catacombs? Where do those lead to?"
|
"No clue."
|
"But we have to find Thid! And our horses are very useful for traveling quickly. And for all we know, those catacombs could be a dead end." Cesia said, nervious about being surrounded.
Just then, a group of knights came in. "You must be the ones that Lord Hessien is looking for. We will not allow you to get away and cause more trouble in our kingdom." The captain looked at Cesia, "And you must be the imposter look-alike. That's really sick to try and pretend to be our dearly departed princess." He and the other knights got in a fighting stance, "Don't think that just because you are a woman that we will go easy on you." Cesia reached for her knives, knowing they would probably have to fight, but they were missing, She was about to inspect where her knives were, but one of the soldiers lashed out his sword at her. She yelped and jumped back, barely avoiding the blade. |
"Ha, attacking the pricness... Oh, this one is going to come back and bite you guys in the ass."
|
Thid went to the second level of the stable and peered out a window. All of the forces that were surrounding the building were slowly making their way in. And to Thid's surprise, there were more than he had first thought, much more.
Well, this kills my plan of letting them fight their way out to me. Chibi Good Thid: You know you could probably get them out of there, make a hole in the side of the building facing the stables and let them run here, mount and we get away. Simple. Thid: Oh yea? And how do you expect me to do that? Chibi Good Thid: Magic of course. I mean you made those arrows. Thid: I hate magic. No way in hell am i going to start using it again. Chibi Good Thid: But you made those arrows. And even if they are used to disable mages, they still involve magic. So you might as well go the extra mile and blow up that wall. Thid: I hate you Chibi Good Thid: *sigh* Most people do hate their good sides. Thid then made his way back down stairs and hurriedly removed another arrow, the pen knife, and this time a roll of silver wire. Then he began to work furiously. |
The soldier looked at Lynx, "Has this witch poisoned your mind as well? She is the imposter. Our beloved princess died honorably at the hands of Skurai the wizard before the great Lord Hessien could save her!"
"Cid is the one that is poisoning all of your minds!" Cesia yelled at them. "Liar! Our Lord Hessien is a noble, good man!" He slashed out with his sword once again at Cesia. She jumped back again, but her foot caught on something, causing her to stumble back. A small trickle of blood ran down her arm, the sword barely hitting the side of her arm. "Each of you will die for helping this traitor and imposter!" "Uh. Guys, I don't think he's going to listen to us..." Cesia put her hand over the small wound. <Where the heck did my knives go?> |
