"Oh come on, your a knight, think about it. Cid handpicks a bunch of people to save princess, he comes back saying princess is dead, but the princess isn't dead, and all of the handpicked people are here, and will say that Cid is lying. Then we can go to the castle, find anyone besides Cid, the princess' care taker would be the best choice, and prove this is the real princess. Or would you rather risk it and possible kill the real thing?"

The knight stopped for a second, thinking it over, "But... how do we know that you are the ones he took with him? It is only public knowelege that he took a group with him. There is hardly any information on who exactly he took with him..."

"Cmon Lynx, you know these dudes are brainless dolts. Born brainless, live brainless...why do you think Cid picked them to go look for us? Heck, they probably can't even fight their way outta a paper sack, just like Cid" Jude said. He took one last long drink from his pint jar, then brought the non-bladed side of his spear hurtling up into the chin of the nearest gaurd, which knocked him out.

He grabbed the pint and lobbed it at the face of the moron trying to kill Cesia, and that exploded quite nicely into glass, knocking him out too.

Jude spun the spear around and stood at battle ready mode.

"Ya know, I don't really think we'll need another guy, we can handle ourselves."

"Take us to the castle, and let us check the records. It would have been recorded in an important mission like this. If the records are gone, I think that still supports my arguement, since it means Cid would have ordered them destroyed, and is trying to hide the evidence. And again, we can prove that this is the real princess, and then she can testify." Then Lynx saw Jude. "Please ignore that idiot..."

"You, catboy, are a moron." Gin said and implanted the blunt end of the naginata in the knights crotch. He kicked the knight into another and then clobbered another upside the head. "Talking in a fight is a good way to end up dead especially when they can make money off your corpse."

Lynx grabbed his staff, chanted a spell, and struck Gin in the leg. It froze in place, covering Gin's entire leg. "You. Shut up." Then he turned to the knights. "Now, shall we talk?"

Gin flared his black hand and disolved the spell and he struck Lynx in the teeth with the blunt end of his staff. "Try that again and I'll have your head."

Lynx again chanted, and swung his staff, hitting the ground next to Gin. The ground shook, and the floor around Gin broke apart, sending him into the basement. "Idiot..." Lynx started chanting his next spell, just incase.

[OOC] omg, now you guys are fighting each other. I'm giving this thing about 4 or 5 more posts max before i take out that wall. [OOC]

Dawn had gotten up as the fighting ensued, helping Cesia get back up onto her feet. "I say that we just try to get out of here without getting killed and continue on our way to the castle. The sooner the better."

As soon as Gin had made mention that the king and most of his advisors were killed, a sinking feeling had set in her stomach, worrying greatly about her own teacher, who had just happened to be a close friend of the king. Surely she wasn't killed as well... at least that's what she was hoping.

She quickly cut her eyes to Lynx. "Will you stop that! He's just trying to help... there's no sense in trying to talk to these people when they obviously are thick-skulled and think WE'RE the bad guys"

"I would talk, we've killed like eight thought-to-be invincible monsters, so a couple of lackies is really nothing to us." Jude said, relaxing his posture and taking a seat again.

"They've stopped attacking Dawn, I think they get it." Lynx's staff was crackling with electricy, just incase the drunk tried something again.

An arrow whistles by Lynx's head. A voice near the back of the Knight's group asks, "Did i get the loud mouthed one?"

"whaddya know, new guy was right, there are catacombs under here...although he doesn't look too likely to move anytime soon...at least until he gets that big slab of floor off of him..." Jude said, peering over the knocked out and groaning knights to see the newly created hole.

Gin jumped from the hole and struck lynx in the chest with the blade of the naginata. "I warned you idiot." He pulled out the blade and spun the naginata jamming the blunt end into lynx' face breaking his jaw.

OOC: Celes had the knight stop, I think she wants to pursue this... Jad, stop being a baby since your Great Cid might actually get underminded.

Lynx used his electricy and touched Gin in the leg with his staff. The electricy surged through Gin's body, frying his nerves, forcing him to fall, and his limbs unmovable. His nerves were fried with physcial electricy, but now they are physically fried.

Gin's black hand crackled with the electricity and he regained his feet. He placed the hand on Lynx and began to drain the magic from the mage. "You don't learn do you." The magical energy flowed quickly. The patterns began to spread up Gin's forearm.

OOC: Jad, you may be the bad guy, but your not in charge of the RP. And the electricy was summoned with magic, but is very real, so his spell breaker powers won't do much.

ooc: and your attacking one of the good guys. and it may be real but the parasite in his hand will eat the magic. Gin himself is very resiliant. You antagonizing a trained killer who specializes in fighting magic users. You are a magic user. You attacked him first. He struck back. You attacked again. He struck you harder. Next time you try something he's going to kill you.

ooc: and how many of them do you think would be loyal to Cid, or in on his plot. All it would take is one. He orders your executions and your dead. Cid didn't act alone, you don't seem to grasp that. Cid may be the big baddie, but he's not the only one.

OOC: I would think more of them are loyal to the previous king, and are just getting to follow you, when the princess, who they would be more loyal to, is right there. If more of the gaurds and solders were corrupt and followed Cid, none of this would have been needed. And of course I realized he had inside men, but there were less of them, and these guys aren't them, or he wouldn't have even stopped for a second to talk.

ooc: again, how do you plan to get into the stronghold of your enemy unnoticed. Cid's not going to suffer you to live long, and he'd give you a farce of a trial. Not exactly an uncommon thing. Look at the trial of William Wallace. There was no trial really just a guilty verdict and then he was drawn and quartered.
