And a new ally who is trying to get a group of people to kill the princess isn't that good of one. And I'm also pretty sure you made that guy like that so you could have a character who can do whatever he wants to my guy..

He wasn't trying to kill the princess. He said the money was tempting. He never said he'd take it.

OOC: But his actions of attacking soldiers who had stopped would just cause them to re-attack, possibly killing the princess.

ooc: you were getting arrested, and again that isn't the brightest plan. A trial would be a formality and you'd be executed. If you started a rebellion or not wouldn't really matter since all the PCs would be dead.

OOC: A trail is wanted, since it's easy to prove that Cesia is the real princess...

ooc: all he'd need is a death warrant with your name on it. You'd be brought in front of a military tribunal. They of course would be bought or corrupt. then you'd have your head cut off in a public execution.

OOC: How would he get this death warrant? Again, the entire castle isn't corrupt, and I doubt people who are very important are, otherwise he did a lot of unnecessary things. You keep switching the type of government...

...I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm trying to make this an enjoyable RP for everyone but I don't know how this can happen when we spend 7 freaking pages in a row just freaking arguing. I just want to know if people are enjoying this RP. If people want to make this work. If you want to just let it die and go to hell, fine, I guess that would be best for everyone. I personally wanted to see this RP end. I WANT it to work out. I really like this RP. But not if it's just going to make us argue and hate each other during the holidays.
I'm going to try to keep it going, I'm going to think it over and plan and plan. Then I'm going to start the next chapter where it needs to start. I'm going to plan it out better than I have been so I know where we are headed and what we are planning on doing. Please guys, I don't want to fight. I don't like yelling at you guys. I'm really sorry that your mood was ruined because the two resident baka heads decided it would be nice to argue for a while. I know I suggested a couple of times that they cut it out, but they just kept on, so I left it was irritating me so bad.

In spite of their bickering, I would hope that we could continue with the RP, seeing how far we've gotten... Of course, I would hope that they don't do this sort of thing again, because honest to god, after all that crap, I was ready to just up and quit.

OOC: First off, I'm not back yet, just checking in and getting a post saying I'll be late.

Second, I knew IHMN would complain about my ending of the monster and bare survival, and all I have to say is, doctor's get patients all the time and say "They should be dead" but they're alive, and while no one can explain it, they live, that's all I have to say on that.

Third, I expected you guy's to look a little for me, I didn't mean I fell right there, and I expected a little shock that I arrived by falling off a cliff clutched in the grip of the dead monster...

OOC: Er... All the RPing after the post I suggested we start at on page 17 is all worthless crap that will not be in the next chapter, no matter what, so don't read past that... Page 5 is as far as you want to go...

OOC: Caught up what I need to, and first I want to say that this is probably one of the best RPs I've been in so far, and I really hope you don't decide to scrap it Celes. This is the longest running and possibly funnest RP I've been a part of, and while the argument was fairly hideous (Yeah, I read it. It was like watching a train wreck, you don't want to see it, but you can't prevent it either. I have an opinion, but in the interest of letting this RP survive, I will shut up), it was one bad incident in what has been a fairly good RP so far. This is probably the most out of control I have ever seen an RP argument get, and I don't think it will happen again.

As to the future of the RP, I'll put down my opinion here since this thread is mostly garbage anyway, and I think if we can all reasonably discuss the future of this RP like adults, it has the best chance of surviving, as long as Celes keeps her final decisions secret. I would recommend restarting this entire chapter tomarrow with all of us arriving at the town again tomarrow morning so everyone can get a good night's rest and get this out of their system. I think the introduction of a new character, especially one as confrontational as Black Hand (He started off on a bad foot, and it went downhill. Also, his powers seem very god-moddy, since he seems to be and expert warrior and invincible to magic, while Thid is our resident "magic-invulnerable" member, and to compensate he seems to be a terrible fighter. On a side note, he is immune to magi, but has magic powers? I'm more than a little doubtful/confused...), was not a good idea, and that our character's should be the one's that take down Cid in the end. I was doubtful the first time they mentioned Black Hand, and I'll put down my opinion right now, I think he should be dropped for a less valuable, generic member over some super powered bounty hunter. The rest of us don't like to feel like supporting cast for the last half of the RP when we have done fine on our own. My final opinion/recomendation is drop Black Hand, make the next thread just arrive at the town, talk for a bit, and we fight/reason with the guards later, and then see where the RP goes from there.

It's is a long post, but it comes from an opinionated but well meaning RPer that hopes we can put aside our differences and continue on with this excellent RP.

EDIT: I realize now my opinion doesn't matter since the new chapter was started anyway, but I still think this, and while I don't know if I'll agree with the direction the RP takes, I'll probably stick with it to the end anyway.

OOC: I completely agree with Forever on the new Jad character, even though Jad lost Cid, I still agree.

He only became god moddy in response to your constant attempts to team kill. I'm a firm believer in the a system of repercusions you kept trying to kill someone you shouldn't have been trying to kill. so instead of taking the hint. You kept trying to over do it. So I responded in kind.

He has the right to defend himself. did you ever take that into account. Maybe he didn't want to be captured in your quest for the truth. Who are you to try and get him killed? and the price for magic absorbtion is the black hand grows. The demonic parasite gains more control.

OOC: I wante d to just stop until Celes came back, and atleast I didn't try to stop by doing physical damage(And when I actually did because you wouldn't stop, you ignored it and kept on going anyway)

OOC: As a way to let Jad keep RPing and drop Black Hand, make a less vital character. You have basically turned our band of heros, fighting impossible odds to defeat a powerful evil, into supporting cast for the only person that can kill him. I don't like to feel like supporting cast, I want to be a hero, and I want just as much a chance at Cid in the end as the next guy, I don't want it decided for me multiple chapters in advance. Make just an average joe, with an average and balanced power, and bring him in. Think of it as joining a new RP, you can't let your guy god-mod or be uber-powerful, and you are just another hero, not the king of all heros that must bow to you whim. If you still want to restart the thread, Jad can submit a new character in standard "want to join this RP fashion" in this thread, where we have the chance to ask questions and iron out problems, then put that character in the bar instead of Black Hand. Otherwise, I guess just weakening BH might be okay too.

Gin can absorb magic, but not a buttload, like Thid. When he reaches the capacity, (use common sense to choose a capacity level) he feels faint and passes out, sometimes making just taking a hit once in awhile better in the long run.

OOC: First, don't start another argument until Celes can comment, and you may avoid many arguments all together (Hint Hint). Second, it was implied BH would be that powerful and the one, since we were just flies Cid laughed at (reasonable at the time) and Cid was scared of BH, who was one man against a kingdom, and you have given so many good arguments against small group vs kingdom I would think you would understand that would sound crazy to Cid anyway and he wouldn't have mentioned it. I still think we should have the chance to comment about this big a change before it is introduced into the RP, because while Celes may have approved it, and I mean no disrespect to Celes, but maybe not everyone thinks your character is fair when they are all compared. I had to bring down my armor and weaken my electric powers so I could use electricity and be an incredible swordsman, and Thid isn't a great fighter in exchange for total magical invulnerability, but you basically combined the two and a bad attitude and put him in the RP with little warning and no chance to say no. I am all for you being in this RP Jad, but I just don't agree with BH as a character, and if he was made in the start up and posted, I would have similar doubts.

Extra: The black hand is a demonic parasite that eats magic. giving him the ability to absorb magic to a degree.

OOC: Considering that this guy is a better version of Thid, I would say that he shouldn't be a very good fighter at all

OOC: Who absorbs magic, which basically was what Thid was supposed to be, except be a shield instead of a nulifier. Thid doesn't have magic, he just made that up just now for comic relief probably, and anyone can make a rune to get a little magic quality in a weapon.

OOC: Ice? I don't know, the magic parasite does seem a lot like Thid's power, and Cid, minus armor and plus magical invincibility, just doesn't seem evened out enough somehow. We haven't even encountered any magicians yet (although it looks like that may change soon) and Thid fills that slot slightly better anyway, so I would think another power may suit him better.

EDIT: And I question Thid's magical abillity. How can someone immune to magic suddenly gain magic powers, when he said at the start Thid wouldn't be able to use magic and would be immune to it in all forms and variaties.

OOC: I shall refrain from making further comments until Celes has posted, but after she does, then I will continue.

OOC: note: it is not invincibility. He has a low limit level to what he can absorb, which after it has reached the limit, he will weaken greatly/pass out, which is not a good thing for him. So basically he's a fighter that can choose to absorb something every once in awhile, which I would assume he would only do if he was protecting somebody or if it was a very large, life-or-death, spell, in which he could absorb it, which would make him pass out for awhile, but it would have protected us a bit, if Gin was feeling noble enought to do that.
I think Jad is being fairly reasonable. He was going to have two characters, but to refrain from more arguing, he relinquished control of Cid over to me, leaving him with only one character. And I don't think his character is that god-moddy, and if it does get out of hand, we can just give him a swift kick in the shins.
And his character isn't the hero, unlike what it may have sounded like. We are all the heroes. Cid was just wary of BH because he didn't really know what he was like, and he at least had a clue of what the others could do.

There, I hope that meets everyone's demands, because I really don't want to waste another page on this arguing.

Ok, this I have to comment on. 1) Thid is not immune to magic, just he cannot die by it. He can be burned, fried, frozen, semi-crushed by magic, but the fatal blow cannot be dealt. 2) He made a rune, anyway can do that. It will give the weapon outside magic abilities for a while, but wear out after a while if the user does not support it.

Also, if we give Jad a quick kick in the shins, he would respond by cutting off your leg
