I saw this article on wilkipedia and thought someone here might be interested.


personaly support this movement, Ive been calling these people the non retarded wing of the republican party for a while and am glad I found a better name.
While I am an ultra liberal (boy, you aint never even seen a real liberal before) I realize there are other legitimate points of view. I just don’t think http://www.cc.org/ is one of them.

I think a better term for that is "Satirizing Centrist".

I had noticed matt stone and trey parker seemed more conservative-libertarian than liberal as you would expect them to be. There really are some great messages in that show. I guess I would have to consider myself a South Park Republican, and most definitely a libertarian republican.

Is there a similer trem for Democrats? I think I'm one those.

well, the term is equivalent to the libertarian wing of the republican party. Im sure there is a libertarian wing of the democratic party too. I suspect that libertarian democrats put more emphasis on the social liberties than to the economic ones the libertarian republicans emphasize.

Finally, a way to declare myself a conservative without people throwing stereotypes at me. Damn stereotypes.

I can see why you would like people who consider themselves "South Park Republicans, " because everyone knows that the only good Republican is one who doesn't believe in anything at all.

Im not sure either, but if you are trying to start trouble or be an ass sapientiamanga you're warned now. we wont tolerate that here, and any continuation on it will result in a banning.

I believe he was only commenting on the fact that many of the most intolerant people are the ones who proclaim the loudest for tolerance.
