That Robot Story Thingie....

.... how do we, your humble reader peons, get in on this kinda action?

Mashirosen 03-11-2005 05:07 PM

Movin' this to the main 8-Bit section -- Brian's more likely to see it there.

Uhm, if you mean how can you read said book, you'll have to fork over cash & buy it... (And wait until it comes out.) Or steal it from somebody else who bought it.

Still, I'd like to hear more about the story Brian intends to do. As well as what other stories are planned. I know Ian is doing a spin-off of RPGworld & doing a story that focuses on Reka. Other than that, I haven't seen all too much that really interests me. The previews that I've seen don't entirely thrill me, and would like to see a bit more before I put hard cash down.

Or wait until someone scans it on the internet. Your choice.

I think that that will be in the book "Disposable Parts". Both Brian and Ian will be submitting something

Which is why I mentioned it in this thread. Man, am I just unclear or what? This has to be the third time in just so many months, that somebody, apparently trying to correct me, has stated exactly what I just said.

Its very annoying you know.

It doesn't seem to be a correction so much as giving a link.

Im currious. How much willl the comics be?

Kurosen 03-12-2005 03:49 PM

The price for Disposable Parts is on the website. The price for the monthly Atomic Robo comic is kind of a pie in the sky kind of thing. We have no publisher yet, but we're working toward that. I'd expect a price tag of $2 - $2.50 per issue as that seems to be the standard print comic price these days.

Well, to try and steer this thread back to my question, how do people who aren't famous or published authors get in on anthologies like this? There's so many anthologies put out every year for "new, untapped talent", but I've never heard of a single one early enough to ever submit any material, and trust me, I'm looking.
