It's not, I checked it out and you have to pay in order to play. Yep I'm a cheap bastardo too.

They shouldn't make you pay for online games. For a lot of people they still have to pay for the internet.

Unfortunate it is that paying for an online game is a neccesity. The makers aren't just after profit. Maintaining an mmorpg costs over 10,000 dollars a year, for server costs, electricity, not to mention PAYING the employees. I could go into depth but I won't.

Well, try it if you have a good internet connection. 500meg download. Long time. *nods* You could order the cd for $10.... but then it wouldn't be free, now would it?

I must say though, if this equation didn't equal:

Then I'd definantely be playing this. It looks awesome. I would play as the male El Moradian. Why? They are everything. Oh wells.

I played Knight Online back when it was free (some might call it a beta). I found it fun for a while, but it got repetetive, and fast. Hopefully since then it has improved.

I'll stick to WoW.

Arigato Obi-San I'll check it out now, the only problem with MMO's are either they are expencive, too filled, or look and play like crap. The other problem is most you can hack which takes away from a game, I once played an older MMO for almost a year to get the best items then people started to hack and got those items w/o any effort :(

I've played that game before. It was fun for a little while, but, like Knight Online, got very repetitive.

Oh, and Conquer WAS going pay to play, but the company found that they were making enough money by selling an in-game item called a dragon ball.
