Rydia tried to run away, but tripped on something, falling roughly on her side. When she looked up, the open mouth of the Zolom's central head was only a mere few feet away. Rydia closed her eyes and shielded her head, and was then flying and landing into something...wet and soft, and very warm, something like...

"Ick," Rydia said. When the Hydra Zolom crashed on her, the central head had its mouth open and somehow came down onto her, the crashing of the head scooping her inside of its throat. It was really humid inside, and Rydia already felt pretty yucky.

"Ugh, can I just have one adventure where I'm not inside of a giant serpentine monster's body?" Rydia said. At least she could leave this time in safety. Last time, she would have been drowned in salt water. It was almost completely dark, except for the rays of light that flowed through the one opening. Rydia had to crawl on all fours. It was big enough to stand up in, but the soft fleshy interior and all the liquid prevented her from getting any kind of footing.

Palom managed to pull Celes out of the way of the heads, then ran back to help Rydia, kneeling at the entrance of the mouth and extending his staff.

"Grab hold of the shaft, and don't let go!" he called down, helpfully.

Rydia was freed from the Hydra Zolom by Palom, her body wet with saliva, but she was thankful instead that it wasn't venom or acid.
This was one of the few times she actually got to see Palom up close, but she was surprised by how handsome he was. She wouldn't change her feelings around, but it was just something to note.
"Yeah, thank you," Rydia said, standing up.

Cecil walked to the truck holding his head with his right arm as if he had a headace, he looked a little dizzy. "Well I dont mind a rest, but what could possibly..." He then noticed Rydia who seemed to have been drenched in salive.
"I know someone who wants a bath right now." He said

Palom laughed, "I think we could all use one! Cloud...since we haven't left this world yet, there has to be something bigger out there for us to kill. Tell me, what was the evil that threatened your world?"

Rydia stared after Cloud and Tifa, her voice low enough for Palom to hear. "Why won't they tell us about the great evil of this world? We talked a lot about Zeromus already. It must have been something truely horrible."

Trying her hardest to get her mind off of all the liquid gunk caked on her, Rydia slid into the back of the truck.

(OOC) Back for a few days

Just then, a filmilor voice spoke up. "My oh my, I'm surprised that my little pet didn't last longer, but then again, you've always had that sort of luck for a failure Cloud." From a pile of rubble rose a man in his late middle-ages with thick glasses and ratty black hair tied in a ponytail. "Cloud, who is that?" Celes said, looking at him.

"Cloud...do you have a hair-spike that lodges in your brain, instead of perforating the air? That thing was huge, magically mutated! If a piece, even a tiny bit of the essence of some powerful creature that could infect and enhance other creatures, were used on the base creature...a big, but not THAT deadly snake could become...this." he waved a hand at the dead Zolom.

Sitting between Rydia and Celes, Palom instinctively patted Rydia on the head, then wiped the goo that coated her hair off on the side of the truckbed, "euck!"
