Maplestory sign-ups are back!

I remember that awhile ago there was a Maplestory thread. There were some people who wanted to join, but couldn't because the sign-ups are closed. Well they are back on again! For a little while.

If you heard about this game while sign-ups were closed, or just hearing (reading?) about it now, here is a link. MAPLESTORY!

Due to the overwhelming demand, we will be temporarily opening the Beta Signups for MapleStory Global. (Unfortunately, Singapore/Malaysia Server will not be open for signups until possibly next month).

The Signups will be opened from Friday morning to Tuesday morning (Korea time). Things to keep in mind:

1) You need a valid email address like yahoo or hotmail. AOL mail is not working well right now but we are working to solve this.

2) Do not hurry through the signups!!! Your personal information is needed to access different functions in the game. We WILL NOT answer any mails like "I forget my name" or "I forget my birthday" or the classic "I don't remember my ID, Password, or name".

2) This is a BETA TEST signup so please understand you are being given the privilege of previewing and testing one of Asia's hottest games right now. If there are bugs or discomfort in the smoothness of the gameplay, bear with us as we work through the beta.

3) The BETA TEST requires many downloads. As with all online games, there are patches and updates to the software. During the Beta Test phase, there can be many patches and we suggest those with a low band internet connection to wait until our commercial release to play our game.

4) Our Customer Service will NOT be responsive. Although we try our best to reply to individual emails, it is not possible to personally address every inquiry. We will address issues in our notice and FAQs and consider all mails that are written to us in upcoming patches.

5) DO NOT GET HACKED!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD HACKS AS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET KEYLOGGED. If you lose your account during the beta test, you will most likely not get it back. Avoid getting hacked by reading our FAQ on hacking. DO NOT share your information with anyone.

Cool! But when, in Pacific time is Korea time?

That's a good question. I'm running in central time in the US. Where would that place me in the Korea time line?

Well, depending on what they mean by morning, that could be anywhere from 2:00 PM Thursday to 2:00 AM Friday, for central time, US. It'd be 6:00 for Hawaii, 5:00 for Alaskans, 4:00 for those on the Pacific coast, 3:00 for Mountain time, and 1:00 for East coast.

By the way, you can still play with dial-up. I play with dial-up now, so you can just ignore what they said about waiting untill the comercal release. I'd recomend downloading it in pieces, though. Unless you have a large chunk of time to download the whole thing at once (took me 7 hours!)

YYYEEEEESSSSS!!!!! I've been waiting so long for sign-ups to be back again. My friend told me about this game in January, but I slacked off on it and I payed dearly for that mistake. But now I can finally play this game! I practically checked the site everyday for any news about another beta or the commercial version being released. I had almost given up hope too. This is going to be the absolute first thing I do after school this Friday. I am so happy. I just pray that the beta doesn't overload befor I get my chance...again.

Oh. Wonderful. I click on the link to download, and it doesn't do a frelling thing. Just craptastic. I really want to hurt someone right about now...

The sign-ups won't be opened untill friday, march 18th, so you didn't miss your chance, Loyal2NES. Just a couple more days of waiting. By the way, if you see a guy called "pendejochi" or "pendejochii," those are my guys. Feel free to say "hi."
